Hugh Jackman & Daniel Craig To Hit Broadway Together in ‘A Steady Rain’
Wolverine hunk Hugh Jackman and James Bond stud Daniel Craig will be starring in a new play on Broadway this fall, according to The Post.
The drama, A Steady Rain by Keith Huff, is about two Chicago cops whose lifelong friendship is put to the test when they become involved in a domestic dispute in a poor neighborhood.
This will be Craig’s New York stage debut. In 2004, Hugh won a Tony Award for his role as Peter Allen in the musical The Boy From Oz.
WILL YOU BUY tickets to see two of Hollywood’s hottest hunks on Broadway?

I live in NYC and am disgusted at some of the prices they charge on Broadway for poor to mediocre seats. What is sad is that most die hard fans of Jackman and Craig will probably never be able to afford to see them as prices are so high. I laugh at shows like this as the big celebs are only in these plays for a few weeks, get some publicity for themselves then they stick unknowns in the roles and the big stars are never seen again.
i couldn’t tell them to stuff it because that would have been rude. but it sure irriated me. not only that, but the seats in this theatre were uncomfortable and they didn’t have proper seating for my brother’s friend. he lost his leg in iraq and had to stand in the back for part of the performance because of lack of leg room.
====================================================WeWell no, I did mean that metaphorically and would not have donated.
I’m sorry to hear about your brothers’ friend. Not cool but many of these theatres are old school but should provide decent seats for the physically challenged. Front row he should have got really.

Agree but I think the two of them will see the run through maybe give or take a night off here and there.
As Bond now will not be released until 2011, yes, his appearance in this play will keep him in the forefront certainly. That and being part of charity campaigns dotted around the place.
Gotta love the PR side don’t ya?
That and considering his non Bond movies have not done so well, this will make him (if he is good) an actor can do something OTHER than Bond.
All planned out, pure PR.
Given he gets decent reviews. Daniel and Babs’ PR machine keeps chugging along (of course with the gonk hanging on for dear life). Yes it’s true love-hire me even if I am a glorified gopher and s**t or I will stop being your slave.
I know Daniel is her present golden goose but I always remember how disrespectful they were to Pierce-the poor man didn’t even know he was being replaced. I think the 3 of them deserve each other-the golden goose, the user and the gonk.
If I lived in the US I would certainly go and see Daniel in this play. Not that keen on Hugh. It sounds like a great play and with the both of them, I am sure it will be a success. I am pleased for Daniel as I know he is only happy when he is working. I agree that Babs has a thing for Daniel (don’t blame her one bit) and she will do almost anything for him (even hire Mitchell) and fund a play for him. Good on you Babs.

LOl, well put, however, I think Pierce had a whiff but nevertheless, it wasn’t the nicest way out but Pierce apparently was having run in’s with them and his salary increase demand was too much. Always three sides to every story, both sides then the truth right? Daniel msut always remember how the reason he was brought into the role could be the way he leaves too. Pierce was Babs darling at the time too. (maybe not as much as her Danny Wanny though).
As for the Gonk hanging on for dear life, what a visual, LOL!
I think of the toy that hangs from a mirror and swings around.

where is the information listed that says bond won’t be released until 2011?

@smart to 42: HA! I’m not so sure Bond can actually kick WOLVERINE’S ass. I think what is going to happen is exactly the opposite…
@EL: Yeah. And I guess you are from another planet, right?
Well Wolverine and Bond are fictional characters, let’s not forget. ;)
Interviewer: But when will the film be released, will we have to wait until 2011?
Wilson: Yes, I can confirm that. We need more time and don’t want to stress things.
I’d love to see these 2 on stage together…

thanks for the translation. well it’s ok. quantom of solace came out in 2008 so waiting three years isn’t bad.
cosy? It makes me want to barf. But the more the gf is involved in his work the more it makes me believe it is more of a business relationship.

i wonder if the girl friend is going to be involved in the project as well. i can’t just see her sitting “pretty” doing nothing. maybe she’ll be babs assistant.
Yes that has been mentioned over a page ago on this thread. Someone posted that Satsuki is involved at a high level.
Love me, hire my Gonk.
Don’t think we will ever see the gf “sitting pretty” as she is a very ugly woman.
Hugh > Cro Magnon
And a response to that was that other reliable sources say she is very quick in fetching coffee. I am sure coffee fetching is a very high level job but her title will sound much more important.
Yes well we all know that nepotism hides behind big titles dont we?
Probably what Satsuki was scribbling down at Nobu that night…what she wants her title to be.
Seems Babs is bending over backwards for Gonk face.
HUGH JACKMAN! :”>
I hope I could watch this. But I couldn’t. :| :(
@Lo:
I KNOW. :( :( :(
@to 118:
GF’s typical day at the theatre:
11am start- Coffee run. gf gets coffee for herself. Perhaps gets coffee for barbara, daniel and maybe hugh if she feels like it. It really is up to her.
12pm; looks through various restaurant menus to see what she wants to eat and where the restaurants are located.
1pm- takes lunch orders and goes out to walk, and work, the streets of NYC, making sure to go shopping (”charge it!!”) along the way. She shops until she drops, then gf picks up the lunch orders.
3pm- Comes back to theatre, delivers lunch to starving actors/crew/ Barbara, gf then takes her ’security guard’ stroll through the theatre, patrols the backstage area, makes herself look busy. gf shines her security badge and perhaps Daniel’s *** while she is at it. LOL- (couldn’t resist that one! )
4:pm- gf’s quitting time.
if that’s going to be the gf typical day then i want her job. i wouldn’t mind having her benefits as well. and when you think about why daniel and sats mix business with pleasure. the couple that works together stays together.
