Hugh Jackman & Daniel Craig To Hit Broadway Together in ‘A Steady Rain’
Wolverine hunk Hugh Jackman and James Bond stud Daniel Craig will be starring in a new play on Broadway this fall, according to The Post.
The drama, A Steady Rain by Keith Huff, is about two Chicago cops whose lifelong friendship is put to the test when they become involved in a domestic dispute in a poor neighborhood.
This will be Craig’s New York stage debut. In 2004, Hugh won a Tony Award for his role as Peter Allen in the musical The Boy From Oz.

I agree Daniel Craig is very ugly. With Hugh Jackman opposite him maybe they should call the play ‘BEAUTY & the BEAST’… LOL!
Anyway, I’m in if that actually happens. I love everything Hugh does. He is talented. gorgeous and such a good guy.
You can’t honestly expect Daniel to dump the woman he loves just because some of his fans have taken a dislike to her, that’s unfair and totally ridiculous. If she was such a bad/negative influence on his life and career she wouldn’t be there, please give the guy some credit.
Why does it always come back to discussing his gf and relationship?

Overexposure!! The guy was everywhere when he was p**ping Bond and Definace. I also agree people are sick of the phony gf who does nothing but pose-they have become the Heidi and Spencer of the older crowd-nauseating.

I don’t think anyone expects the guy to dump his ugly gf but the comments are very funny! I hope they don’t break up as the gf provides a lot of entertainment-he is so handsome and she is so ugly-I think they should be in Beauty and the Beast.

His last movies have been bombs, he’s arrogant, his gf is hideous looking and arrogant…….why would anyone want to write something nice about him. When Bond goes away the interest in DC goes away. The only reason he is getting a lot of attention from this play is because Hugh Jackman is in it. I don’t think it would be very big news if it only starred DC.
I think Lainey was reprimanded from his office regarding the comment made by them stating that Satsuki’s father said “they are not married..just yet” apparently after the QoS premiere.
I think her father did NOT say that and caused problems for them. Libel simple as that.
Lainey then has changed her view on them since that time and I see passive aggressive comments now.
Satsuki’s not even mentioned now unless Lainey has been instructed not to mention her or their relationship again after the Oscars as she was less than kind about Satsuki there.
The pig comment could be taken both ways. I think she meant it in the sense of him being such a sexy dirty animal that by saying cutsie things to his daughter does a person cease to be a sexy dirty animal? Can he be both?

Just to add to what i’ve said, i honestly think that Daniel can not cope with being alone, he seems to absolutely hate being alone and thats why Satsuki is with him 24/7 so he’s never alone. It’s just my opinion after reading interviews and atricles where he’s talked about how lonely film sets can be, how he hates being lonely and misses family and friends.

Because his g/f is an integral part OF his career (or amde herself to be). She should step back if she wishes not to be discussed anywhere.
By the way, this is a free forum and any topic can be dicussed freely so demanding people to stop won’t work. Sorry about that.

Yes Hugh Jackman is handsome in a pretty boy way. But Craig absolutely smolders. He is sex on legs. His work in The Mother and Layer Cake is wonderful. And Casino Royale was great. He is just not that well known for his work here in the states. Compare that to Jackman’s work in Australia. I thought Ausatralia was pretty weak.

Regarding Lainey-don’t think it had anything to do with the father’s comment-that isn’t considered libel. Agree with other people that this couple is overexposed and having the gf (who does nothing) in the spotlight 24/7 is getting a bit weird. I just think people believe he is riding on the Bond wave and producing crap while he’s on it.

it was just a reference to the dialogue in pulp fiction. the two scenes are related, the “i love you honey bunny” and the “pigs” conversation. if you haven’t seen it in a while, maybe you should rewatch pulp fiction. it’s a great film. watch these to help you sort it out.
