Scandal-plagued pair Jon and Kate Gosselin’s may be headed for a nasty $10 million divorce, reports National Enqurier.
“Jon said their goal is to be legally separated by July 15 because Kate wants to move on quickly,” an insider reveals. “Jon is going to push for half of their money, but Kate is determined to hang on to as much as she can — and they’re worth more than you think… Needless to say, there’s a small fortune at stake here — easily $10 million. And Jon and Kate will be fighting over it like cats and dogs!”
TLC says it has plans to renew Jon & Kate Plus 8, which kicked off its fifth season on Monday to a record 9.8 million viewers - more than double the show’s previous series high.
“The show’s ratings have grown consistently, as there has been interest in these real-life issues of this real-life family,” TLC said in a statement to E! News. “We will continue to air as the interest continues, and the family wants to do it.”

Did you see the pictures on TMZ - Kate and children off to the beach in NC- Jon talking to two women in New York having a beer- They have went their separate ways I do believe. I bet the children wonders why parents are not together anymore-

Crap- I agree- If it was not for the children - there would not have been a show- The children made their parents rich- The money should go to the children- The parents need to support the children - not children supporting their parents-
I actually think JOn is worse than Kate. They both used the children for money but now that he has the cash he’s going out to have some fun without his baggage aka the 8 children that made him rich.
We do know Jon said on show that the world was not about ratings and tv- it was about happiness. We know he did not want another season- I think he wanted them to go back to normal life-being a family- I believe Kate wanted the Fame -I think when Jon would not do things Kates way - she told him it was over- He started drinking and I think he is deppressed- He seems not happy - Everything changed when they moved to big house seems like.Sad!!!
All of their whining and moaning about the “P-People” and the media storm around them… yet they have their children’s birthday party at a freakin’ public park? What about there new house with all of the land… why not have a party there and not have to worry about security and the paparazzi? Oh, that’s right, ’cause then you wouldn’t have more free publicity. I hate her and her possum hair!
There is a reason there is more footage of Kate always at home with the kids and not Jon.
Kate always wants the cameras around to make it appear she is doing all the work, but it’s not hard to do a quick Google search to see she is gone weeks at a time on promotional tours while Jon is left looking over the family. (Hince the comment by her that the kids sometimes call her the babysitter’s name).
Jon is actually the main person at home all the time, and he basically makes sure there is no tv / production crew around because he is sick of the lack of privacy. Sure they have helpers around still when he is there, but he focuses on being a dad and not a fame *****.
When she is back in Pennsylvania, he still spends time with the kids, he just gets a chance to have alone time with people outside of the family. I think he is just annoyed how Kate does this “woe is me, I do all the work to care for the kids” when it is really him. Kate’s “career” is actually enabled by her 8 kids.
I think Jon is just annoyed how Kate makes it appear that she is carrying more than 50% of the load, when really, she doesn’t do as much as she claims/wants portrayed. You get the impression Jon wants to say more but he doesn’t want the kids to be damaged anymore than they are/will be in the future when they hear the stories. I think all things considered, he at least trying to take the higher road, but it is hard sometimes.
I really hope he gets the kids if their is a divorce. There is tons of TLC footage that shows what he has to put up with in Kate. She is just so unstable. You can even see that the kids naturally feel more affectionate with Jon more than Kate.
The birthday scene where Kate was basically ignoring one kid who was trying to say thanks and kiss her was fitting. I think only when Kate saw that TLC cameras/schoolmate’s mom near her did she actually reciprocate the love back. Everything is just a big show for her. It was pathetic. Hell, she could have left the kids home with all the help while she was shopping for party favors so they can avoid the “p-people”.

@Lizbeth: i completely agree that the kids are overexposed. but see kate doesn’t care. she cares about paps taking pics of them but not about the fact they have a camera crew in their house 24/7. an I like kids but I can’t help but not like little Mady. She is such an annoying brat very much like her mother.

What makes me even sicker is that even after there were problems, they renewed the show. Why don’t Jon and kate end this train wreck and try to patch up their marraige; since they both said that the show and the public attention is a big part of the problem. DAH !!
If you have money problems, you work harder, right?
If you have a drinking problem, you go to AA, right?
Go to a marraige counselor and work things out for your kids, who you NOW more than ever, owe them that much!! They made you your fortune, now do your job and keep your family together.

dingus- I agree- It is all about the ratings- Even if they get divorced- They will benifit from the show- Its all about the money,fame,and ratings-There should be a law for child actors- What is sad is these children have been working since they were babies- They have been in front of the camera since they were born. If these parents wanted to document them growing up- they should have only done an appearance once a year- no they wanted to make money and lots of it. This was not for the children - this was for to make these parents rich.I
I’m not going to watch the show any more. Those children are being exploited by everyone - do doubt - and I don’t want to be a part of it. I hope that other people feel the same way.
The producers of the show are making a big mistake. They let Kate run the show. She became swell headed and Jon was left out.

I think this is a terrible situation they are in. First off , They don’t need to fight like cats and dogs over the money. There is 10 million dollars. There is 10 of them okay everyone of them get 1 million. You can live on a million just use your heads. Second I hope Mady goes to John because he can straighten her out. I wouldn’t even let my grandchild act like that. Acting up now and then well thats normal. But she is totally out of control. Yikes……Best of luck to ther other children…..

Serious people. Kate is a money hungry beouch! She cares only for her, not Jon and not her kids Her doing all the work, the only work she’s doing is tell everybody else what to do. Must be tiring sitting on her ass at the spa and running her mouth all day. I would love to see her get not a red sent of that money, or better yet, give her a 5 dollar allowance and see how she likes it. God, I hate Kate. i can’t believed jon put up with this as long as he had. i would of jumped by now.
