They have lives just like us and are free from the lost that we all go through. I look at Brad/Angie and see all the ugly things printed, and the joy that some people find in the possibility of their relationship ending. I wonder if those people think at all about the children..Children who do not understand their parents celebrity. I doubt it’s true. The same writer said he saw Brad at The Standard hotel a few years ago and that Brad called Angelina wonder woman. Brad’s PR person, at the time, said the interview never took place and J Taraborelli wouldn’t return phone calls as to the legitmacy of his fake interview. He does fake interviews all of the time.

In his delightful, straightforward manner, Doug figured: “We can do something about this, and the fix does not have to be complicated.” He worked with the Foundation For Springfield Public Schools (Nancy Fazzio, director), Springfield businesses, and a few philanthropists to set up the Care to Learn program.

“Our goal,” says Doug, “is to spot a problem and fix it now. The other day, for example, a principal notified us that a student’s learning experience was badly disrupted because he had no presentable clothes to wear to school. In 20 minutes a Wal-Mart voucher for specific clothing items was being prepared for the boy’s family. By the way, Wal-Mart has set up a system to reject the voucher if it is presented to pay for something else.”

We have watched what we could of your little personality grow
for 3 years now. Honey there are no other words then what your loving mommy called you when you were 1 yr. old. She said Awwe Shiloh is a little honey and continued talking about Shilohs kind heart .

Just one look..one glance.. and so easy to love. Angie is correct Brad certainly does make beautiful babies. Shiloh has a special piece of both Brad and Angie. I can already see it in her stance, just her mannerisms and that child handles the press with huge shy baby blue eyes that send you to the moon and does not for one min think the noise and crazy world around her is all about her at that moment….But it is.:) and it will continue to be because her name is Shiloh Nouvel Jolie Pitt.
Imagine too that this gorgeous child does not have a conceited bone in her body. Her parents decided before she was born they didn’t want Shiloh or for that matter any of their children spolied and as Angie explained it could be so easy.
Bravo to Angie and Brad for they have lovely well behaved children and what evert they are doing they are doing it right. The Brangalina children are never misbehaving or acting out when on camera.
That is something you can’t fake so two pats on the back for a job well done and to boot from the two most gorgeous people on this earth.

For all of us JP Fans we have watched Shiloh grow since before birth.

Each little Brangie tot is loved but in a different way…i guess b /c they are different personalities. In Cannes to present his new movie, Quentin Tarantino talks to Real.Time about cinema, history and Brad Pitt

It sounds like a cliche but, like most cliches, this one is true: Quentin Tarantino is what his movies are. Garrulous, half-crazed, bouncy, witty, funny, free-form, infectious, intelligent. He pours out thoughts and references and names and you’re expected to gather them up at the same speed with which they’re dispatched. And there’s a childlike enthusiasm in everything he discusses - that’s a bit odd when this is also a filmmaker known for his masterful choreography of on-screen violence, a mischief-maker whose works are among the most unique in contemporary cinema.

We caught up with Tarantino last week at the Cannes Film Festival, where the US writer/director came to present his new movie, Inglourious ********. The rolling, playful World War II thriller stars, among the large cast of international actors, Brad Pitt, and the story hinges on a cheeky re-writing of world history in which the power of cinema eventually brings down the Third Reich. Pitt, sporting a moustache and a moonshine runner’s drawl, plays the chief of the ********, a group of US assassins sent to scalp Nazi soldiers in occupied France, and their mission takes them from a rural tavern to a cinema in Paris where Hitler himself is scheduled to attend the high-profile premiere of a Nazi propaganda film.

All of this, of course, isn’t part of any textbook history - that World War II is ended in a freakish fashion in a Paris movie house.

But playing things straight was never the forte of the man who made glorious trash, or inglorious gems, like Pulp Fiction, Jackie Brown, Kill Bill and Death Proof; here, the deliberately misspelled Inglourious ******** enjoys the opportunity to bastardise common perception and stretch its poetic licence to the limit.

“I had no idea [that I would tamper with history] when I sat down to write the piece,” said Tarantino, 46. “One of the things I have to offer as a writer is my unbridled imagination - there’s no bridled, no! - and I always have the freedom to follow my characters wherever they go. When it came to the story of World War II there was a road block, and the road block is history itself. I was prepared to respect that road block, but then it hit me: my characters don’t know that part of history, they don’t know how things are going to happen, so they can change history. What happens in my movie didn’t happen in real life because my characters didn’t exist, but if they had existed, this very well could have happened.”

Inglourious ******** wasn’t influenced by any particular war film, said the director, though it throws references at a number of vintage French and German films and, of course, Tarantino’s favourite director, Sergio Leone. “I remember watching a-bunch-of-guys-on-a-mission movies as I was conceiving the idea,” he added. “I watched World War II movies, Italian macaroni combat films, and a lot of American propaganda movies made while the war was going on, those starring George Sanders. It’s just me soaking up the environment of this genre - it’s for me to kind of marinate. I’m not looking for inspiration, I’m not picking anything from it.”

And the casting of Pitt as, well, to put it in his spirit, the major *******? “Questions I got oftentimes is, who would you like to work with? And I can go through a long list of actors I’d like to work with, but it doesn’t work that way,” said Tarantino. “I’m a writer, and nothing is more important to me than my characters. So when I create my characters, I have to make sure that I’m taking care of them by putting them in the right hands. So yes, me and Brad had wanted to work together for a while, but it’s up to me to write a character that would be right for him. When I started writing the script, I thought Brad would be good at this. When I wrote on and on, I thought Brad would be really good in this, and when I write more and more, I thought Brad would be f****** awesome in this!

“Yet the thing is, I had no idea what his situation was. He could’ve said ‘Oh, I’m already committed to do another movie.’ You see, when he makes a movie, his wife [Angelina Jolie] doesn’t make a movie, and when she makes a movie, he doesn’t make a movie, so it could’ve been any kind of that situation. Sometimes the movie-gods smile at you, sometimes they don’t. This time they did.”

My local radio station is just as bad. They do this Hollywood gossip spot every morning and today the chick that does it cited some tabloid as saying Angie was moving to Portugal because she loves country and the language and wants to raise her kids there. This moronic DJ oohed and ahhed over how she’d been to Portugal, how much she’d loved it and what a great decision Angie and Brad were making. Just last year this same stupid DJ gave the info about Brad & Angie renting the house in France and who they would be raising their kids to be bilingual with French as their second language. So why didn’t this ditz say to herself, BEFORE GETTING ON THE AIR AND LOOKING STUPID, “You know…this doesn’t sound right. Jolie said last year she was in France and having the kids taught French to honor her mother…” But NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! The stupid chick is on the air babbling about Angie moving to Portugal like it’s the gospel truth. She made no attempt to be rational and weigh the new info against what Angie herself has said.

Rumours are flying around as to the state of the relationship of celebrity-dom’s royal couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Some are predicting a split announced at any moment, so how do those spreading these rumours explain what happened on the set of Angelina’s new film, ‘Salt’?

Oh! So that’s where the Portugal rumor originated. The deejay on a local radio station was talking about it and I just posted a comment saying how ridiculous it was that she didn’t weigh the rumor against what’s already known.

UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie launches centre for unaccompanied children

WASHINGTON, D.C., March 9, 2005 (UNHCR) –
Children fleeing persecution and arriving alone in the United States will now have better access to free legal counsel, thanks to the new National Center for Refugee and Immigrant Children in Washington, D.C.

The centre was launched on Tuesday by UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie, who last year donated $500,000 to the centre and who has been advocating for more than two years on the issue of unaccompanied children seeking asylum who are detained in the US.

Speaking to reporters at the National Press Club on Tuesday, Jolie said, “The point of all this is, when children cross into this country alone and they’re scared, we must hear them out before we make the choice to either allow them asylum in our country or send them away. It is unethical to not listen to these children. Because without legal representation we are sending children to court to represent themselves in a language that most of them don’t understand. And expecting them to recall accounts so frightening and humiliating, they wouldn’t want to tell anyone, let alone a room full of strangers.”

Each year more than 5,000 children from around the world arrive in the US unaccompanied by adults. Many of these children are asylum seekers who fled armed conflict and human rights abuses in their homelands, including forced recruitment of child soldiers, forced prostitution and servitude, sexual slavery and exploitation, child labour, abuse of street children, child brides and female genital mutilation. Some children come to the US because they have been abused, abandoned or neglected by their parents or caregivers.

A number of these unaccompanied children are apprehended immediately at airports or land borders upon arrival in the US because they lack proper documentation. Others are apprehended after crossing the border illegally. Many are trafficked into the US to work in sweatshops or prostitution rings.

In 2004, over 6,000 children arrived alone in the US and were placed in immigration removal proceedings. These children often go through complex immigration court proceedings alone, without lawyers. After being apprehended, children are placed in the custody of the Division of Unaccompanied Children’s Services, Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) within the Department of Health and Human Services. They are held in shelter facilities around the US and ORR works to get them released to families. About 3,000 children are released every year. Major destination cities include New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, New York, San Francisco, Washington, D.C., Houston and Dallas.

The Unaccompanied Alien Child Protection Act of 2005 offers the promise of systemic reform in the treatment of these children. Under this bill, there would be a greater emphasis on ensuring pro bono lawyers, and the children would be eligible for guardians. The law would also address remaining deficiencies in the immigration system’s treatment of children by requiring special training for immigration judges, prosecutors and pro bono attorneys. The bill has been reintroduced this session and has a great deal of bi-partisan support.

The newly-launched National Center for Refugee and Immigrant Children will support this bill by seeking lawyers willing to donate their time to help children access asylum and other forms of humanitarian protection. The centre is being implemented in partnership with the US Committee for Refugees and Immigrants and the American Immigration Lawyers Association. The key to the success of this centre is the commitment of large law firms throughout the US to provide pro bono services in their communities.

Pffft. I heard that rumor yesterday. That MSN story almost the EXACT SAME STORY The Sun had LAST SUMMER when he dumped her the first time. I don’t know which country Heat mag is in - maybe the UK? - but it’s just a re-tread of an old story. Not that I doubt X is desperate enough to entertain the idea, but I think even she knows it wouldn’t be a good PR move for her. Especially since a hook-up right now would almost certainly include a line or two about misManagement bombing at the box office. It would be nicely worded, like, “Aniston, 40, star of Management, is coming off the worst box office performance of her career…” And she doesn’t want a spotlight shined on that dud. That’s why she’s been in hiding the last 2 weeks. She probably found out that the last 100 theaters were dropping the movie this week. Can you imagine if Angie had a movie that only played for 2 weeks? Shite would be on the cover of every rag in the world and the top story on every news broadcast…and I do mean news, not entertainment shows.

I commented about that at the end of my tabloid report. It’s the second week in a row Mr. IUC and his rumors have appeared in The Globe. It’s not that I don’t think X is capable of drunk-dialing The Urinator a second time, but all they did with that story was include the info about X working on The Baster. Otherwise is the exact same rumor as last year. The irony is that while I think X would say yes to Round 3…I think The Urinator would take a pass. I think now he realizes exactly how much work X is and he wants no part of it. The fact that he’d have to keep his trap shut…again…and not engage in juvenile pranks like going to a club and having a bunch of random women kiss all over his face and t-shirt…and they actally do it!…would stress him out so badly he’d have an aneurysm erupt and stroke out!

I have a theory about why the hag (bb jane) has not referenced the jps since the Oscars and her uncool comment about Angie. I think Brad’s lawyers got up all in her grill and threatened her botoxed a**. Mention me or my family again in any intervews, and face the consequences at your peril!!. I think she crossed the line when she brought his childrens Shiloh and Knox’s name into her PR game. He had his lawyer warn her and Huvane off!!

Hence the deafening silence when it came to her promoting her bomb mismanagement.
