I remember the days that you had to be someone pretty famous to be on the cover of a magazine. I mean like Ava Gardner, Frank Sinatra, Elizabeth Taylor or Desi Arnaz famous.
The BOY is only famous for having a child at 17 years old. That doesn’t warrant him this much fame. I don’t care if he’s the ex of a governor’s daughter.

i hope they work it out. both families fighting isn’t good for Tripp. they should have kept their disagreements,conflicts private and handled them better from the beginning. they should have tried to reconcile their differences to make it fair for Tripp, both parents and families.

Wow a lot of crazy comments but to clear things up I am a doctor and I got circumsized as an adult due to my foreskin not retracting, I won’t go into the infection details. But it was he best thing I could have done for myself. Being Mexican it was not the cultural norm but it should be required. Circumcision lowers std and HIV rate by 70% and those are the facts all else is crazy anti-circumcision propaganda. Save lives and circumsize your newborns. If the world circumsized their boys then in a generation HIV would be cut 70%, millions and millions of lives saved. drgarcia, the vast majority of adult American males are circumcised yet the United States has a higher per capita HIV infection rate than all of Western Europe, Canada, MEXICO, Australia, Japan…. just about every other country outside of Africa.
Explain that.
Read the history of circumcision. Aside from the obvious religious ritual, it was thought as a way to keep little boys from masturbating. When that didn’t work, American doctors just kept inventing new excuses. STDs/HIV are just the latest. Wrap it up or better yet, practice monogamy with a trusted partner and you’ll have much better protection than any blood ritual.
In America, circumcision is being reduced to people with a religious mandate and dumb hicks. Guess which category these guys fall into.

Sorry the to all of the anti circumcision crowd but the facts are the facts just google circumcision and Africa and you will see the astounding difference in HIV between those circumsized and those who are not. It is a shame that people become zealots and do not just look at the facts. I was born uncircumsized and now am circumsized and am so much happier. I know both sides and I do ask parents to research the facts for themselves and not just go to anti-circ sites. The World Health Organization recommends circumcision and it is based on the best health of that child. To all you zealots look at the facts.
And all you have to do is google the rates of circumcision and HIV of various countries to see that this alleged reduction does not exist in the real world, and this empirical evidence trumps any conclusion from studies with KNOWN flaws.
FACTS are those which can be proven and not contradicted by the empirical evidence and those based on data WITHOUT KNOWN flaws.
And who were the people at WHO who decided that circumcision reduced HIV? There was never a forum to publicly research this subject.
People who CHOOSE to be circumcised with no medical necessity do so based on PERSONAL baggage and have a personal need for it — hence their anecdotes and opinions are not objective.
A little logic goes a long way.

You can also refer to the World Health Organization website as well. At least half of new HIV cases would be prevented if there was world wide circumcision. I know the anti-circ people just had a heart attack at that statement but it is the truth.
So therefore say in Finalnd however many people infected with HIV every year would be cut in half and possibly up to 70% according to a study done by the National Institute for health. Having buried a cousin due to AIDS I wish there was more circumcision in Mexico. Maybe this discussion will make me spearhead a new initiative to dispel with the ignorance and fear I have seen in some of the arguements here. The truth is on the side of circumcision as the facts are backed up by real science not emotion and internet rants. I hope those who have shown ignorance on the subject will look into the truth and not be caught up in a continued ignorance which causes HIV to spread.
To all the parents out there look into reputable scientific sources not propaganda websites. Center for Disease Control, World Health Organization, National Institute of Health all support circumcision to the point of recommending adult circumcision in Africa. And having had the procedure as and adult I support it 100 percent. So circumsize your children for their health not for cultural reasons.
