Angelina Jolie: Injured on ‘Salt’ Set
Angelina Jolie was rushed to the hospital on Friday (May 29) after injuring herself on the Long Island set of her new movie, Salt.
TMZ reports the 33-year-old actress “bumped her head, getting some sort of nick in between her eyes. She bled a bit and was taken to the hospital. Her manager tells us she was doing a stunt when the incident occurred.”
The film’s production company released a statement, saying, “This morning while filming an action sequence… Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury. As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie will be taken to the hospital and examined. Production on the film has resumed.”

Angelina will be fine. She is a strong woman inside and out. I am sure Brad was by her side, even for a minor injury. God watch over the Jolie-Pitts.

No one is minimizing the death or loss of Natasha Richardson. She is had what was an assumed to be minor injury that resulted in her tragic death.
Her example was used to illustrate a point, that head injuries should be checked out by a qualified professional even if they appear minor
