Angelina Jolie: Injured on ‘Salt’ Set
Angelina Jolie was rushed to the hospital on Friday (May 29) after injuring herself on the Long Island set of her new movie, Salt.
TMZ reports the 33-year-old actress “bumped her head, getting some sort of nick in between her eyes. She bled a bit and was taken to the hospital. Her manager tells us she was doing a stunt when the incident occurred.”
The film’s production company released a statement, saying, “This morning while filming an action sequence… Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury. As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie will be taken to the hospital and examined. Production on the film has resumed.”

Considering the subject matter of this movie, It’s really wonderful it did so well. Over 100m world wide. Much of it thanks to Clint’s directing and Angelina’s wonderful performance in the movie. Talent does matter.

After what happened to Natasha Richardson, it is best to go to the hospital after any kind of head injury/bump.

well, it certainly shows that if a movie is well made and well acted with a very good story, the audience will be there, even for a movie on a depressing subject matter. On the other hand, an unappealing story, badly acted isn’t going to attract anyone even if it is supposedly a feel good movie.

Not that I believe for one second that a production assistant made those unprofessional remarks, but when a prod asst gets a medical degree then it can comment on the need for a proper medical check after a head injury strong enough to cause bleeding.

I am sure any injury on a film set requires immediate medical attention. There are insurance and union requirements after all.
Angelina and her family are in my prayers. Glad Angie is well. I urge fans not to engage Molly, I can’t believe this type of evil person exist even on the web. Be careful what you wish for, so it does not happen to you.

This is probably that stupid beyotch “some stupid chick” who had it bad with Angie who claimed to have a son. Fo these trolls to be so cavalier about people’s well being is beyond sick. BTW, this morning on the way to work, I turned on the radio on 93.3 -KUBE,. They were giving away ticket(s), I believe for Summer Jam. TMAN and his crew will give the ticket(s) to the caller(s) who can best imitate Jennifer Anniston drunk dialing J Mayer. On caller was very funny/good. Prentending to cry and puke and ask JMayer to take her back bcause she loves him so much and wanted to have children with him. It was funny. KUBE is the local station in Seattle.

By the way, was this injury before or after she was “spotted househunting in Portugal without Brad Pitt”?
