Gerard Butler Caps It Off Newsboy Style
Gerard Butler covers up his hair with a newsboy cap as he makes his way through security at LAX airport in Los Angeles on Friday (May 29).
The 39-year-old Scottish stud plays Kable in the upcoming sci-fi thriller Gamer. The character is the superstar and cult hero of the ultraviolent “Slayers.” Kable is controlled by Simon, a young gamer with rock star status who continues to defy all odds by guiding Kable to victory each week. Taken from his family, imprisoned and forced to fight against his will, the modern day gladiator must survive long enough to escape the game to free his family, regain his identity and to save mankind from Castle’s ruthless technology.

I always find it hard to believe that this is the same guy that made me run and see “300″
#50: What advertising slots between the comments? The way I see this page the comments are all one after another with nothing in between.
But as someone else already said, ALL the stories about celebs on JJ are actually non-stories. But what’s interesting is that a lot of non-stories about real A-listers have much less comments.
This is not his style, but I hope he tries something else.
Gerard Butler is a real A-lister, and the best reason for visiting JJ.

Love it or loathe it, the “don’t give a sh*t look” is his signature style. As for the bracelets-he likes them! So what! (He may have Peter Pan Syndrome but I’m pretty sure there are worse things.) Personally I think he’s dead sexy in a ratty t-shirt and jeans or a Versace suit. Works for me.
As for “boring” pics with the phone to his ear, coming or going to a club or an airport-the man’s just living his life. The camera’s just happened to be there to capture it. If you had the paps jumping out at you 24/7 what would they see?
Funny how he looks normal in the outside pix and chubby cheeks inside. Has to be the lighting.
He’s got to lose the hat and the shirt which he has been pictured in before about a year ago.

Wow he’s pudgy faced. I’ve never thought that he was that good looking. he looks ok. Though his character in 300 was sexy yummm, but heck most of THAT was special effects lol.
He should watch What Not To Wear, those acid washed jeans makes you look fatter where you don’t want it. and they are ill fitting. He has a flat butt. Overall not a pleasing look.

he has worn holey, scruffy clothes for years, check out past pics from 2004. In his down time he doesn’t bother to dress up, why should he? I wouldn’t bother either. He is looking older and his face is a bit droopy but that’s what happens to some people I guess. I think he’ll start to take more of a back seat from acting soon and do more producing. He’s made a lot of money and now I think he’ll just do what ever he wants to do. But just one thing Gerard…please make Burns, if it’s the last film you ever act in, you gotta do that one.
I don’t usually don’t pay attention to Gerard but he looks really bad in these pictures. Has he gained weight? His face is really puffy.
Gerard Butler looks like a chipmunk and has a terrible bone structure! He and Leo Dicrapio are alike in that regard. Very bulbous faces. Cringe worthy in fact.
I cant believe how these haters are putting this guy down. These stars are always rushing to catch a flight. I am suprised if they are dressed at all. I fly a lot and they keep saying you have to be at the airport 2hrs earlier even though you already have your board pass. So now I just throw on sweats and a few things to carry on because they will throw away most of your items even your drinking water. I think these are all Jennifer Aniston fans because they loved this guy when they wanted and her to get together. They were hopeing that he would take the place of Brad. They even said he look so much better than Mr Pitt and we all know that is not possible. Mr Gerard Butler put that talk about he and Jennifer to rest and now they are trying to destroy him also. You people can go scream at the ocean because that will never happen because Mr Butler is such a good actor and not about jennifer. I would love to see Pitt, Craig, Jackman, Butler and the bad girl Jolie in an action romantic heavy duty film togather.

Interesting how a couple of years ago most comments on Gerry were gush, goo, yum yum, do ‘im, sex god, wanna marry ‘im, and now most are negative. Has his career run its course already? Fame is fleeing, and the public fickle.
LMAO he looks like alot of fun! Why should someone spend hours getting ready to spend a couple of hours on a plane. You want to be comfortable. I think he looks like a normal man. I know he should have had a maniped and got his hair styled and be wearing $5,000 designer t-shirts but I think he has other things on his mind.
People who criticize about his shirt definitely have no sense of fashion. A pair of ripped jeans by Dolce and Gabanna, for instance will cost you at least $500 minimally. If it is not your style or your taste, I can accept that, just don’t check it out. It is not very constructive to make critical criticisms like these. He was just minding his own business and probably did not intend to be photographed. Besides I think he looks cool.
naw. i like the guy, and i’d still want to marry him but i wouldn’t want to bang him at all. does anyone know anything bad about gerard, like he’s absolutely horrible to fans (ala ryan reynolds and young anikin), or gives bad intervies (ala evangeline lily and megan fox), or always saying the wrong thing (ala kathryn heigel and megan fox). i don’t know anything bad about this guy really…so what if he looks like this all the time when he’s not on the job. w/e. atleast he looks good and can look good. meh.

Notice how she says she got a call from a media contact telling her he was at the airport - so she went. She was there BEFORE he arrived and filmed him arriving. Now does anyone think that Butler’s PR doesn’t tell the media where he is going with plenty of notice?
And yes, he knew he would be photographed and still dressed like that…
