I don’t care what anyone else says…he’s hot. These pics are not the best….but, he just does it for me. And no, I’m no overgrown older female. I am considered by others as an attractive, younger looking 32 yr old chick & my friends don’t understand what I see in him. He talks out of the side of his mouth…bla bla bla…he looks bloated…bla bla bla. Just something about him I guess. Is he in the airport leaving or arriving? I can’t tell. Anywho, if your leaving Gerry, COME TO THE BOSTON AREA!! lol…I adore you sweetie!! Not sure if I’m digging the newsboy hat on ya though.

Butler’s eyes are the best…bluish green…very rare combo.
I just appreciate his disposition and his humor mostly. He seems very down to earth, and just a good guy. That’s what makes him more attractive to me anyway.

Gerry is NOT married. That is just another sick rumor stared by some sick person just to get Gerry’s fans worked up and upset. I think if Gerry were married, the whole world would know it, as that would be something he would not be able to hide very easily. So far as is evident, he has not even come close to that step in his life yet. He’s apparently, from all reports, still playing the field and having a good time. His actions are anything but those of a married man, or even a man that is in seriously committed relationship. I wish that those who persist in starting rumors, mostly for the sake of hurting Gerry’s fans or keeping them upset would stop. It’s really not fair to them, and it’s not fair to Gerry either. It just shows how many mean spirited and sick minds there really are out there, and it does nothing to solidify one’s faith in human nature. Think how you would feel if someone talked about you the way some of you talk about Gerry, with all of your comments based on speculation and with no real facts or evidence to back it up with. Gerry coming out of a nightclub, or talking to someone on the beach, proves absolutely nothing at all. Yet some of the wildest stories can be made up from these incidences based on just a picture. Why people continue to continually criticize and trash a person they know absolutely nothing about - and let’s face it, none of us know him, only what the press writes about him, and it’s more than obvious that they have their own agenda in making up the stuff they tend to make up, it gets them hits on their sites, scandal has always drawn more attention and interest than the truth ever has.

Gerry Butler is very much a victim, I think. And I’m not stating this as a fan, but just as another human being. He’s far from perfect, I’m sure, none of us are. But I seriously doubt that he is anything at all the person that the bloggers and those like TMZ portray him to be either. He’s single, attractive, and in a position, both socially and financially that he can afford to live a good life. And it’s his life, not ours to judge. And I think all of you who continue to trash him would think how you would feel if it were you, you might feel differently.

Right is right, and fair is fair, and I don’t see Gerry being treated right or fair. What has he personally done to any of you? Think about it.

And take your best shots at me, I know you will. That will just further say the kind of person or people you are. My opinions are just as valid and warranted as any of yours are.

Finally someone with sense. All you haters must live very boring lives if all you can think to do is trash some one else’s life. No one and I mean no one really knows the truth only God. May he forgive us all and that includes Mr. Butler. Having fun is one thing, but when it’s at the expense of some one else, it’s very sad to see. I hope you haters all feel better after you’ve vented your frustrations here. Try spreading some love for change, that might make you feel better too.

I don’t have a “relationship” with this actor or any other actor. I’m merely pointing out that he’s a human being and should be treated like a human being instead of something conjured up by the press in order to get hits on their sites and sell their gossip rag magazines. As far as I can see, and I’m sure everyone sees the same that I do, as it’s all out there for all to see, Gerry has not stepped out of the boundaries of any other red blooded single male with no apparent emotional ties, and it is just hard to understand why he should be singled out for criticism when he is not doing anything any more or any worse than any other single celebrity (or noncelebrity) out there. Too many people jump to judgment before they know any of the real facts. How much faith can be put into what a blogger or gossip reporter says? Isn’t it pretty much their business to exaggerate or perpetuate scandal, even when there is none. Aren’t they notorious for fabricating stories on celebrities with the majority of it being pure fabrication, just on heresay and not fact. Everyone knows the progression of rumors and how they can start and end quite differently.

I think Gerry needs to be given the benefit of the doubt. There are many reports of his kindness and generosity, and he seems to have many friends, both in and out of the business. His coworkers/costars all seem to think the world of him. I keep up with him and have for quite some time. I see the things reported, just as all of you do. I’m not playing fangurl here. Gerry’s celebrity is not in question here. I’m just pointing out that to purposefully trash someone, to discredit them or bring one’s reputation to task, just on rumor and speculation is not kosher and as I said, put yourself in Gerry’s shoes and think about how you feel. I’m sure if he read this, and I’m reasonably sure he will not, it may not bother him. But then, it may, you never know, as none of us really do know him, do we? And how can you pass judgment on someone you do not know?

You are passing judgment on someone when you judge their actions - both positively and negatively. So your positive observations are just as much of a judgment as someone else’s negative observations. Neither of you know him. You are a hypocrite.

I think you all are missing the point here. Yes, Gerry is guilty of hitting the paparazzi, as there is irrefutable evidence that he did and he admitted to it. HOWEVER, none of us really know what provoked the attack, and we only have the witnesses that said (and again, no real proof here), that the paparazzi was stalking Gerry and was driving recklessely in the process and almost hit a couple of people. None of us were there, so we don’t really know what happened that night, so why do some of you jump to judgment and be judge, jury and executioner before the truth of the matter and facts are in. I’m sure it will all come out in court, and if Gerry is found guilty, I’m sure he will be duly punished. Being an attorney, I’m confident he knows the score, and wil deal with it accordingly.

We only have bloggers and gossip reports of Gerry’s actions when he is on his free time (which, incidentally is his FREE time and he should be able to use it to his liking without having anyone, you, me or the media, criticize every move he makes). He’s human, after all, plagued with the same imperfections and faults that all of us have. He likes having fun with his friends, and the occasional lady friend, yet to let the media (and some of you) tell it, he’s the scum of the earth, I believe the term most often used is “manwhore.” I fail to see that any of that accurately described him. He doesn’t hurt other people, he doesn’t even hurt himself. His choices in movies he makes are just that, his choices. He has said many times that he doesn’t look at a role for the “payday,” but for the character itself, and if he sees something in the role that interests him. I think Gerry is far more serious about his profession than people give him credit for.

He seems to be a “favorite” of the paparazzi, again, because he generates hits on blog sites. He has certainly done wonders for this site, given the number of comments you see on his sections, in comparison to most. It’s hard to determine if most of you truly hate him or hate his fans more. He does have a very unique, extensive, and loyal fan base, most of whom are very protective of him, because he’s very good to his fans, and from what I read and hear, most of his fan’s loyalties lie as much with Gerry the man as they do with Gerry the actor.

I believe it was to a paparazzi with TMZ when Gerry arrived at the train station in Philadelphia just before Law Abiding Citizen started filming, who said something to Gerry about all of his “women,” and Gerry’s reply was to the affect that to let them tell it, he had 10 affairs a day, and that that was just not him at all, it was totally untrue. He has had to refute so many “affair/hook up” rumors publically, Cameron Diaz, Naomi Campbell, Cheryl Burke, and most recently Jennifer Aniston, explaining that they are just friends, and nothing more. It seems to me that he should not have to constantly defent himself and deny the rumors that go on about him.

And, yes, this seems to be part of the Hollywood “game,” but does it make it right that even when he denies the rumors, that it keeps going on and on and on, with no end in sight. Does it make it right to constantly put him in a less than good light, for no reason at all, other than site hits.

And all of this is, in reality, just the defending of one human being to another. I would say the same thing were it anyone else, even any one of you if I saw that you were being unduly mistreated in any way. Until any of us really know Gerry and what his life is all about, we are doing a very bad injustice by jumping to conclusions without the facts. This is all I’m trying to say here. Rumor and speculation are not fact. Rumor and speculation breeds all kinds of ugliness and can be very hurtful. And why do some of us have the need to hurt other people, particularly when we don’t know the real facts.

Yes, Gerry did hit the paparazzi, that is fact. But what else can you honestly, and without any reasonable doubt, prove that he has done otherwise, that has been said about him? And how much can any of you prove is true, and not just the rantings of some paparazzi/blogger/gossip monger?
