Taylor Lautner gets shirtless sexy in the exclusive first look of New Moon, which aired during the 2009 MTV Movie Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday evening (May 31) in Universal City, Calif.
The 17-year-old hottie wore a navy leather jacket with knit detail at collar and waist by D&G, J Brand “Kane” jeans in Outcast, and a white LNA v-neeck tee.

@MissyQ: Well… if you go back and read the book, they aren’t really “werewolves”. and Bella always described them as being massive wolves. the size of horses… So they definatley got that part correct. and i thought the graphics were very well done. better than twilight’s sparkling Edward. I think the trailer was cool…however i see this movie for what it really is…something to pass the time…The acting SUCKS!!! i mean they all portray there character in an extremely one dimensional way..
i mean Kristen look like she was jonsing for a fix in the first one, always twitching, when Robert tries to look like he’s in pain he basically looks like he’s passing gas and Taylor..well not much to say cause in Twilight he’s only on for like 10min total and he’s basically portraying what he is in real life, a silly teenage boy.
I’ll watch the movie but im not goin with high expectations i take it for what it is, another teen movie with bad acting that happens to be an entertaining way to pass a couple of hours.

the acting still looks really bad. when they were in the woods when edward leaves, i felt like he was just reading it from a paper. his facial expressions were a little annoying.
i dont think that when they showed jacob turn into a wolf, was the same scene with laurent. cause i thought it was too, but if you watch it, it is different.
they did a good job with the wolves tho. i was worried about how they would turn out.

IF YOU PAY CLOSE ATTENTION TO THE TRAILER YOU CAN SEE THAT THE SCENE WITH LAURENT AND THE SCENE WITH JACOB TURNING WOLF ARE TWO DIFFERENT SCENES CAUSE “BELLA” HAS DIFFERENT CLOTHE.

if you looked closely during the trailer you would have noticed bella isn’t wearing the same clothes when she’s in the meadow with laurent and when jacob turns into a wolf so they haven’t messed with the book as far as we can tell…so don’t overreact just yet.

I agree, the werewolf looks like something from Chronicles of Narnia. They should’ve made him look more menacing, like the werewolf from Van Helsing. What a disappointment, that just means the special effects will be subpar once again.

Trailer looked good but the ending of it was not depicated as it was in the book with Bella meeting up with Laurent… If I’m not mistaken….
I actually waited a year to read the twilight series… and like the other reader fell in love with both edward and jacob (characters) i am 28 and am glad that they found rob and taylor to portrait the man characters. Kristen on the other hand, she is pretty, BUT her acting is seriously bad. Twilight-i was extremely disappointed on how the director butchered that film. I am happy they replaced her, because she stripped away so much from the story, from the characters…. i didnt fall in love with edward in the movie, but i did in the book. Jacob in the movie was good, just a normal boy “acting” normally. True, edward always look like he is hurting, but because in the book, he is always caught between trying to be happy, and trying to protect Bella from pain. I am hoping for NEw Moon to blow me away. but based on the trailer… sigh. anyway. they picked a good alice, but Rosalie was suppose to be BEAUTIFUL! a knock dead gorg vampire…. ummm, i didnt see her as one in the first movie. sorry, she is very pretty though, but not as a vampire. they should have casted someone close to like “Kate BEckinsale” she was a very pretty vampire. I am excited that Dakota is in the film, we can appreciate real acting then… sorry twi-fans. i am one too, but i hope the director and acting coach would push Kristen to really BE bella…. she should stop twitching ;p so much and really show everything that bella feels… her happy looks the same as her sad, hungry, hurting, moping, crushing….

if you look, Bella’s clothes are not the same when she’s with Laurent and when Jacob changes into a werewolf so they didn’t really mess with the book.That often happens that different scenes are put together in a trailer. I think the trailer is awesome and it will be hard to wait until november!

@brit: if you’re at least a little bit attentive you can see that she wears different clothes, so its not even at the same time. and when she meets laurent she doesn’t even know that jacobs a werewolf, so why would she yell “jacob, run!”? they just edited it that way.
People, if you read the book and comprehended what you read, you’d know that he looks like a large wolf when he’s phased. If you had the stamina to read all four books to the finish, you’d lknow that he’s not a werewolf at all. If you want what’s in your mind on the screne, go ahead, write your book and get your thoughts made into a movie.

You can tell their different days/scenes because Bella (Kristen) is wearing different blouses in those scenes. - Trailers are meant to be different clips from different scenes of the movie all jammed in on one preview to make moviegoers wanna watch it. so, i loved the trailer. it gave me chills. lol. and i won’t judge it until i see the finish product in Nov!! I just hope they stayed true to the book as much as possible.
