Vanessa Hudgens - MTV Movie Awards 2009
Vanessa Hudgens hits the red carpet at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday evening (May 31) in Universal City, Calif.
The 20-year-old Bandslam babe wore a gorgeous orange Max Azria dress and matching Jimmy Choo “Riv” platform sandals. (Sophia Bush wore the same shoes last week.)
During the ceremony, Vanesssa sat next to her boyfriend (and High School Musical costar) Zac Efron.

Music#275, Take your own advice my dear. We all have lives and this is just one of our pastimes, I’d like to remind you. We are fans of Vanessa and have every right to be here and defend her. You are just one of those naysayers who know next to nothing about Vanessa. We have been diligent enough to make it a point to know what we are talking about.
Let me assure you, Naomi is no little girl but a successful professional who happens to have one thing in common with the rest of us a liking for Vanessa and an ardent fan. So your insults are misdirected and off the mark.

@Music: You know, she’s actually NOT a Disney girl. She just starred in a few of their movies. She’s not out of their “stable” like Cyrus, Lovato, Gomez, Tisdale, Duff, etc. You have a lot of nerve telling people what to do. If it wasn’t for NASTY vicious people, those of us with some maturity, brains, and a positive attitude, would not have come here in the first place to defend her when times were tough a few years ago. Doing this is NOT our life; it’s a pleasant (mostly) distraction and escape from real life. Leave us alone; we’re just doing what WE want. Go do your own thing.
Vanessa was never a Disney girl…The only movie/TV contract with Disney that Vanessa did, is the 3 HSM series. She did appeared on Suite Life of Z&C for 4 quest appearances but never and not a regular on that TV series; however, Ashley Tisdale is one of the main star for that Disney TV show since 2005. Currently, Ashley is still with Disney doing Phinnies and Pherb. Vanessa started with Thirteen and Thunderbird. After HSM3 is done with all the promos and showings, Vanessa is happily ever so far gone away from Disney. Beside, I always felt Disney never did respected Vanessa that much. But at the end, it worked out for both parties.
Disney still have their stars such as Demi, Selena, Miley, Ashley Tisdale, and Jonas Bros.

Why would want to come make such stupid comments and prove that you cannot use your brain for reasoning purposes?
1. If you are not a little girl and have a life then why are YOU here? Why are you different than any one of use who are older?
2. Why can’t you figure out that we who are older are fans like anyone else the difference being we expound on what we know or understand to let those who ARE young and tend to believe every piece of gossip or are those who just want to cause trouble know the truth and give them understanding? Some need to “see the light” as there are some “little girls” who fret over some of the things hateful people write and the lies the try to spread.
3. Then there is the great possibility that you are one of those who admire Naomi and would like to engage her in conversation so you try to come across as someone who has some wisdom. However that cheap shot that has been overly used on these boards about how we are childish for arguing with young kids don’t hold water—there are a lot of holes in that bucket, honey. Just the fact you are here letting us know that you know the older posters mean you have also spent a lot of time here yourself. Then you trying to tell them what to do, why is that different from what you are complaining about?

I just wanted to add on to that list, Frieda Pinto (the other nominees that did not win also) has signed on to 2 upcoming feature movies (American Empire and untitled Woody Allen’s London Project) and in progress of filming ‘Miral’ for showing in 2010.

Vanessa looks STUNNING! She is SUCH a gorgeous. Too bad she didn’t win anything, but congrats to Ash, Kristen, and Rob. They were just as deserving. I really love Vanessa’s look here; super cute and sexy dress, love the hair and makeup too. She has the perfect look for summer. I can’t wait to see her other movies, loved her in HSM and I’m sure the next three projects will be enjoyable as well. It’s cool to know she’s such a sweet, pretty, and talented young girl. Best of luck to Vanessa in the future!
Vanessa looks superb!! I’m not a big fan of the dress.. but i love how she chose the perfect shade of light pink make up to match the dress though :) I’m so sad that Ashley won instead of Vanessa… but if there was some gorgeous award thingy at the MTV awards… Vanessa will definitely beat Ashley by a million!

Same here! I am dying of supporting Vanessa Hudgens! There is in her that she could always count my my soft spot of my heart… I am truly proud of her as a Filipino..
i think who that say vanessa is ugly(impossible)is such as a jerk prson in athe world.
