Some people are so stupid on here. If you think Vanessa is full of herself because of what she said on stage then you must be totally ignorant and like 13 years old in the way the world works. WRITERS of this awards show write what the presenters will say, not the presenters.

And as far as Ashley goes: she is a talented young woman BUT if I was her I would be wondering if:

1) there was the slightest possibility that I got that award because I had fans that hated my supposed best friend so much that they voted endlessly for me

2) that another actress who’s fans hated Vanessa so much also voted for me to try to keep her from winning

3) my endless self-promotion from twittering all the time of my where-abouts and whatever else

4) that I suddenly changed boyfriends and hooked up with one who had MTV ties and could promote my career better

5) and last but not least, the fact that the two true front runners, Vanessa and Miley, might have won it for me because the vote was split so much between them that I ended up getting more votes. However, in reality IF Vanessa or Miley had been out of the running I would NEVER have won over the other one so it was like winning by default…

See, I paid attention in my lessons and studied hard so I have the kind of job where I have my own client portfolios and manage my time without having to report to a line manager.

And because I cut out time wasters like TV, I can excel at my job, keep up with my reading and still have time to support Vanessa. It’s called multitasking and life management. Very useful.

she IS very arrogant and self centered… my boyfriend’s mom did security for KCA a few months back and said that V was very snobby.

Frieda Pinto is far more superior than Ashley. Frieda’s Slumdog has won 8 Oscars, now that is where the talent is. The MTV awards are not something to be bragging about and basically it does not measure talent at all. It is just a popularity contest among tween/teen fans voting. Frieda Pinto is more of actress and the movie industry, directors, producers, and movie production companies know that she is the movie star to be recognized for.

Seems like those recent reports of their being touble in their relactionship might not be to far off the mark. It was reported that Vanessa arrived a hour before Zac, no photo’s together on the red carpet totaly different situation to the TCA when they did arrive together and very happily did’nt mind being photograped together, but not this time.

But Vanessa looks georgous and that colour really suits her skin tone, love the bag.

The directors, producers, and movie production company know Vanessa has talents. She is being offered for roles in upcoming movies. Now I could really say that Vanessa is out of the tween/teen fan area and moved on to mature audiences, therefore, the movie industrial will be able to offer Vanessa more movie roles that are higher rating than PG13. Winning the MTV award will just keep her down with the tween/teen audiences plus Disney/HSM association, and now her title will be “Beastly” star Vanessa Hudgens instead of HSM3 star. It just take away further and further away from the name of HSM and Disney.

It is great, she is completely grown up from Disney/HSM.
