Me thinks that for some posters here, if words fail you, swearing and name calling seems to be your last resort. If you’re not a fan of Vanessa’s fine, but to bash her for bashing’s sake is a big difference between giving one’s opinion. e.g.You can say I don’t really like what she’s wearing as it does not define her figure or the top is too revealing without adding that she looks trashy or n a k e d. For your info, there have been celebrities who have worn dresses just as revealing as hers and Vanessa does look classy here as a matter of fact. She downplayed it with her skintone lipstick.

It looks like she’s going to be in Vancouver for quite a while. SP is action so four months is reasonable enough for the shooting. She’s just going to be there when it’s really cold, ouch.

I’m suspecting she wouldn’t have a lot of time to promote Bandslam and might skip quite a chunk of the promotion considering Beastly is shooting through June and July and SP is picking up September. We’ve not factored in fight training yet.

Hopefully we’ll get updates from both Montreal and Vancouver.

If you look at her baby pictures, that’s just how Vanessa is. She’s been smiling like that since she was a little kid. So, that’s not arrogance. That’s just naturally Vanessa. And she has never said she was a rebirth of Audrey Hepburn, but she does admire her.

I find it so pathetic that vanessa fans go so crazy if someone comments a thread about vanessa with an opinion differant to theirs. Not EVERYONE is going to like her but EVERYONE is entitled to their own opinion! My thoughts, shes attractive, but thats about it. She comes across as being very arrogant and self involved and that really kills her appeal. I dont see anything down to earth about Vanessa Hudgens. Nothing at all. Its like, she knows how gorgeous she is and its gone to her head. Lauren Conrad, who in MY opinion is just as pretyy as Vanessa, is waaaayyy more liekable and down to earth-and shes a reality star! You would expect it to be the other way around.

I think Vanessa not winning either of the awards she was nominated for sort of shows that outside of the teen/kids choice awards….shes really not as popular as people may want to believe. If she really had SO many fans, wouldnt her first album have gone beyond gold(for someone popular on disney to barely sell half a million copies in 3 years is considered a flop)? wouldnt her second album not have debuted to such pathetic sales? Wouldnt there be more people liking her than agaisnt her? I mean, the thing with this girl is plain and simple, at the end of the day, take away the good looks, she is a totally average girl with barely average talent and a less than charming personality.

BTW to the adults commenthing this thread, you all disgust me. Insulting a bunch of kids and teenagers when you should be taking the higher road. I remember reading something once where ‘Naomi’ said she had a full grown daughter. WTF. and your sitting here everyday commenting post about a teen star who could probably care less about you. If my mom was sitting on a computer everyday on justjaredjr and jj getting into arugments with little 14 year olds who dont no any better, I would be mortified. Before you go calling all the people stating their own opinions ‘immature’, take a good look in the mirror. Your full grown women, aruging with teenagers, and you have the nerve to call US pathetic? Ok then. As an 18 year old, knowing that whatever I say is going to be dissected by a bunch of adults who feel the need to insult teenagers who disagree with their opinion on a teen star, well I just find that to be very creepy, and arrogant, since you all seem to believe that your opinion is the only correct one.

I will preface the following by saying I am not really a Vanessa fan (I don’t watch her movies, but don’t dislike her since I obviously don’t know her), but how is she overrated? To be overrated she would have to be consistently talked about as a great actress and she isn’t, as of yet anyways. Anyone who seems to like her doesn’t comment on her superb acting, more so her beauty, style, and perceived personality. I’m not saying she can’t be great, but It’s hard to show that in an ensemble movie such as HSM, and she isn’t known for that YET. Therefore, she isn’t overrated as an actress? IMO, of course.

shes overrated in the sense that people on sites like this talk about her 24/7 as if she were the second coming of god or something. And the fact that when people comment on her very few mention ANYTHING about her ‘talent’(its always about how she looks) it leads me to believe that if she wasnt attractive, I HIGHLY doubt people would have this much interest in her. If she looked like Nikki Blonsky, but still had the exact same personality, would people get this hyped about her? No. they might say yes, but its not true. She IS overrated.

like imagine high school musical without zac efron. lets call a spade a spade and be real people, because i don’t like them either, but i don’t hate on them anyways. so if the movie didn’t have that zefron kid you think corbin, tis, vanessa, the others could have made this movie. lol. hella not. not a chance on god’s green earth and not in a blue moon and basically not a chance in hell. so yeah lets look at the demographics of that film franchise…girls. and also even though girls are young, they innately grow up with that b*tch instinct so ofcourse they hate on this girl for lame reasons (aside from her bad acting) mostly out of jealousy, but who can blame them. so there’s that. i don’t see a lot of little dudes going to the theatres to watch those movies or tv shows because of her…the girl fanbase ratio out numbers the guys fan base ratio for her. it’s the same scenario for twilight. everyone is always talking about how hot pattinson is and how much kristen stewart looks like she hates her life, and they also fall into the bad acting category as well. i’m saying this as an observer to the hype machine.
