Ashley Tisdale is purple-licious in a leather Elise Overland dress at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday evening (May 31) in Universal City, Calif.
On the red carpet, the 23-year-old actress showed off a Loree Rodkin coiled snake bondage ring and a stylish pair of Paul & Joe Sister “Gypsi” shoes. Hot! She also wore a Balenciaga belt and toted around a clutch, also by Balenciaga.
Ashley won the Golden Popcorn for “Breakthrough Performance - Female” for her work in High School Musical 3: Senior Year.

i wonder how much ashs team paid mtv for this award if u people cant see how rigged this was then there is no hope for future artists whos fan base thought that mtv would do the right thing and give the award to the artist who had the most votes not the one that paid for it . shame on mtv we all know who the top two should of been and ash was definatley not one of them. why have a voting system when the award is not given to the winner but to someone who needs to buy it to save thier career because people are already loosing interest in them.
Ashley is a greedy girl…..she should share her wealth with her family. I have my connections, I know for a fact that her paternal grandfather has to fly coach. And he has a rich granddaughter. WHAT A GREEDY GIRL….DON’T YOU KNOW ASHLEY, THAT MONEY IS NOT EVERYTHING IN THIS WORLD. FAMILY COMES FIRST.

@Philip: You know what yeah ur right about that she put out two albums in a row but the first one sold 32,000 in it’s first week Ashley first album sold 64,000 in here 1st week…oh i’m not done….Vanessa second album sold 22,000 and it was her second album her second album should out beat her first 1 dummy…..so you can cry and pout about whatever but Ashley will always be better so get over it….byebye..

Saying that Vanessa album didn’t sell as well will not help the sales of Ashley’s upcoming album. So it useless and dumb to waste your time making that stupid comment.
There are accomplishments Vanessa has had over Ashley and accomplishments Ashley has had over Vanessa but it doesn’t make a difference. They are both talented but more importantly, they are FRIENDS.
So get over yourselves and stop creating this STUPID COMPETITION!!

She looks like she wants someone to punch her ungrateful face. Her people did an excellent job working with MTV to give her the award. How funny that this trash has promote herself 50 million times more than other artists and change her release date and bribe herself to an MTV award just to sell decently against all her competition. Keep trying Ashley it’s fun to watch you get nowhere.
