OlderChris Pine & Audrina Patridge Sit Next To Each Other At MTV Movie Awards 2009
Presenter Chris Pine gives winner Ashley Tisdale a kiss on the cheek at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday evening (May 31) in Universal City, Calif.
Chris, 28, and Anna Faris, 32, presented the Golden Popcorn statuette to Ashley for “Breakthrough Performance - Female” for her work in High School Musical 3: Senior Year.
During the ceremony, Chris and rumored fling, The Hills star Audrina Patridge, sat next to each other but the reality star claims she was unaware of MTV’s seating chart.
“I had no idea,” she told Access Hollywood. “I can only say… that I’m single, I’m single! I’m just here to have fun. I had no idea he was sitting there.”

Okay so I dont know her personally but she seems so…trashy. I know its wrong to judge but that is how she comes off. And Chris seems educated and…well, you know, not trashy. I really hope their not dating because he can do so much better than her.

Amazing that there are never any photos to back up these claims. I had seen that he was supposed to be seated next to her but I had also heard that he left as soon as his presentation was over. Publicity anyone???

He didn’t sit next to anyone. MTVs own blog says he left at 9:23 PM. Since he presented the first award that means he didn’t stay.

I heard that she is filthy rich family wise. She doesn’t depend on the money from the Hills. She is probably quite acceptable for Chris. Maybe we think of her as gross b/c of her hooking up with Justin Bobby. Hey, we all make mistakes. I like Audrina, but then again I love all of them from the Hills. Kristin……I’ll have to wait and see.

Since he was the first to present and left after his presentation I am guessing he did not sit with anyone! He may have had a seat next to her if MTV moved her there. He also skipped the red carpet. Audrina said on the red carpet she was “single, single”. I do think Chris Pine could do WAAAY better than her…..

This is Grade A annoying now. Is she or isn’t she dating him? Discounting the bar pic becuase that’s not evidence either, no one has seen them together.
The whole thing is becoming a tiny bit unbelievable and in no way is this hook up random.
I’ve seen some of Chris’s interviews and he comes across articulate and intelligent. I’ve also seen an episode of the Hills and the whole time I was just distracted by how vapid Audrina was. She seems like a nice girl but just really empty. If Chris is the intelligent and interesting guy he comes across as, I would be v. surprised if he was dating someone who seems so empty-headed. JMO

thankfully he didn’t actually sit with her. he wasn’t even in the audience at all I bet, since his award was the first and he apparently left right afterwards. he’s got a play he’s rehearsing for I believe, so he probably just headed home.
I wish they would have sat him next to Zach Quinto and the people Zach was with. The interviews they did together are hilarious and they are genuinely friends so it would have been nice to see. Maybe then he would have stuck around longer, rather than leave.
They would be cute together.
