007 Daniel Craig’s sculpted torso is Del Monte Foods’ inspiration for their new “licence to chill” ice pop.
Del Monte Superfruit Smoothies said artists “worked tirelessly” to recreate a shirtless sculpture of 41-year-old Craig in the scene where he emerges from the sea in Casino Royale, the twenty-first film in the James Bond series.

Well I don’t think it’s high on the list of super worries for him but I do think he would want the public to know he is NOT garnishing any monies from this nor EoN.
I think that is the main thing for him really.
Has anyone here bought the ice lolly yet? Because I wonder if the bog standard version in the shops is really that detailed.
I think the lolly idea is funny. I mean, all sort of things have been formed in chocolate, and I am sure there have been chocolate bikini versions of female celebs before. And yes, Dan is a very private person and was getting fed up with all those comments about the swimming trunks scene, but on the other hand, isn’t it also a bit flattering that he topped the poll of men women want to…well…lick? He is a very attractive man after all, and maybe the best way to deal with this is laugh about it. Maybe he is laughing about it, who knows?

I agree with all the trunk comments there isn’t anyway that Daniel would be connected to this but I hear Del Monte ran the survey themselves and commissioned the ice lolly themselves.

well, i’m sorry but given what i saw of daniel and satsuki’s behavior in st barts and some of the terrible dresses she’s worn on the red carpet; i would not be surprised if satsuki was somehow behind these ice pops. although i have to wonder if daniel is not upset about this.

I would say he would be especially after trying to distance himself from the trunk scene.
I did hear he was not connected to this from someone and that makes sense to me. Purely a business move by Del Monte capitalizing on him. Now if anything Bond is mentioned, EoN/Sony can sue them.
Isn’t it a terrible thing to even think he is involved with this because of Satsuki? You see what she has done to our thinking because of her actions and image?

I think there will be no Broadway because he has no time, he must to do training for Bond. About Broadway it’s “maybe, rumour”. If daniel has a lot of stunt work in 23.Bond he must be preparing for role and no sitting and talking at Broadway, eeeh it’s quite boredom in the theatre.

Yes he says he wants to distance himself from the trunk scene but when the paps started to photograph him at St. Barths he changed from his baggy pants to a tight Bond-like suit. Also, he has said he wants the next Bond to be sexier. I think he is smart enough to know that a great deal of his popularity his due to his sexuality-it sells!!
