Kate, darling, I love you, I think you’re a great actress, I think you’re beautiful, please buy a mirror.

I like her, she makes really great movies and shes a fantastic actress, but I have to admit it she has not aged well. She’s 34 and has lots of wrinkles. She looks more like in her 40. I’m the same age as her and 2 kids but I promise I do not look as old as she does, and I’m most certain she has more time and money to look great.

Love her, great actress. Agree though that she needed a mirror before going out, the dress is not good on her and she looks severe with her hair back like that (plus her roots need touching up).

I do admire her for aging gracefully, much better than some of her peers like the overly-botoxed Nicole Kidman who can barely move her face and has fish lips (she destroyed her looks). The 2 Kates, Blanchett & Winslet are fantastic actresses, both classy and seem like they have no hangups about again, how refreshing from actresses!

Like Kate, but this look is not good on her, she needs flowy, feminine styles with her hair and clothes to soften the angles of her face, she looks her best when her hair is down and wavy and she is wearing something feminine.

That said, Kate does have a large amount of wrinkles considering her age (maybe she doesn’t take care or her skin and she is fair). I’m 44…10 years older and don’t have her money or time and except for the odd facial, I much look younger than her (we should switch ages, she looks 44 and I look 34!). Just goes to show, a lot of it is genetics (thanks Mom!)

Kate Winslet must get the most annoying actres award!
I totally agree with the british press
chick is too self centred and fake

@Jennifer:

I’d LOVE to see what YOU look like cupcake…

she is the most arrogant and boring actress in the world. never liked her. she is a quite good actress, but nothing moore. terribly overrated

YECH!! He’s your husband. Put some effort in to it for god’s sake.

Kate is absolutely gorgeous,the most beautiful woman on earth.
Why is everyone being so mean? She is getting older so what she will always be beautiful if you ask me.

Stop hating on her!

I think this look is good. It’s different to the same boring dresses she wore during Award Season.

Absolutely stunning. Definitely the best figure in the industry! Great, down to earth role model. Love her!

yay for away we go. everyone go and see it. it looks so good. WHAT A BAD DRESS. IT COULD HAVE BEEN OKAY W/O THE STUPID ARMS. gah, the sowing around the bust is all wrong. ugh.

oh and before i get the hate machine on me. i love kate. i think cate is better though but i love them all for being so good at their craft.

Gorgeous? Don’t people even know what the word means anymore. She’s average at best. Good actress . Hope she isn’t like Paltron who let the Oscar go to her head.

im a kate fan and all but kate, u really need 2 save that chin
it’s starting 2 actually grow in2 a beard
she doesnt look very good here
the dress wasnt nice and she looks tired
i actually like how her hair looks, weird yet it’s nice

You all are just Angelina Jolie loving jackas*es. Kate is gorgeous and a gr8 actress. Watch Heavenly Creatures or Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind.

Ewwwww-CHIN HAIR!!!!!!!!

Kate is always so classy. Great look!

d*mn. die.die.die…leave her alone…

OVERRATED!!! I just saw her performance in The Reader and I was immensely disappointed. THIS won her an Oscar?! Wow, Sally Hawkins owned her and she wasn’t nommed cuz this ***** had to get the Oscar handed to her on a silver platter.

Please you people need to get out and see more movies, there are MUCH better actresses in existence! Everyone always raves about her emotional depth, but all I see is acting. The wheels are clicking and she sticks to the same emotional display film to film, nothing ever changes. The only exception to this would be Eternal Sunshine and even that role is overpraised. She was there, solid, funny at times but really didn’t do anything that spectacular. Ugh, that’s what you get with an actress who attracts a bunch of bubbly, “I loved Titanic, like OMG, like it was such a totally awesome film” fans. *rolleyes*

I wish she didn’t wear her hair like this. :(

@David:

yeah… and you’re a film critic. don’t act so high and mighty. you can’t act like she can. She’s absolutely talented. 2 Golden globes, 2 SAGS, 2 BAFTAS, an oscar and also a grammy. beat that!

@48-LOL. That’s my point, I wouldn’t WANT to “act” like her. I prefer more natural actresses, ones that I don’t feel are so desperate for awards. I could care less how many trophies are on their shelves, I just want to be wowed when I watch a movie, not made to feel like I’m pandered to constantly. She’s gotten those awards because she constantly picks the same films and the ones where she attempts to branch out are pitiful (The Holiday anyone? I was outright embarrassed for her in that one). There are so many actresses who hardly have any awards on their shelves who could outact her any day. Patricia Clarkson, Toni Collette, Laura Linney, Julianne Moore, gosh the list could go on and on. Not to mention the Winslet fans need to seriously learn to take criticism. You guys are the worst, even worse than Jolie fans, it’s pathetic!
