Miley Cyrus cozies up to New Moon hunk Taylor Lautner at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards held at the Gibson Amphitheatre on Sunday evening (May 31) in Universal City, Calif.
The 16-year-old Hannah Montana star paired her Moschino Cheap and Chic nude silk cowl neck halter dress with Robert Lee Morris for Elizabeth and James jewels.
Miley’s hit song “The Climb” from Hannah Montana: The Movie won her a Golden Popcorn statue for “Best Song From a Movie.”

i just think you should give the girl some credit, and shes not famous due to her dad, shes more famous than him now, and she has worked so hard with such a busy schedule, and at 16 years old, shes just incredible…

@stella: OMG I could not agree with you more. She drives me insane! Absolutely annoying and trashy. And Selena Gomez dresses maturely, but not this mature. She can pull it off anyway, since she is the mature one. The day Miley Cyrus grows up…oh god, we’ll be forever grateful. =D

Honestly, she looks at least a little ridiculous in most of these pictures. The pouty look clearly doesn’t work for her - it gives her duck lips. The dress looks great on her on the red carpet, but AWFUL on stage. Look at those pictures. She has a very pronounced dimple in her figure where her underwear is displacing her butt fat. I’m pretty sure that’s not the desired effect. Not that it mattered, though, because she already sounded so absurd and stupid accepting the award that no one even noticed what she looked like.
