Brad Pitt is Billy Beane
Brad Pitt gets down to business at Smashbox Studios in Hollywood and then hops on a private jet at Burbank Airport on Tuesday (June 2) in Calif.
The 45-year-old actor is set to star in Moneyball, which begins shooting on June 11. The flick centers on the major-league’s Oakland A’s and their general manager Billy Beane (Pitt) who attempts to draft players to the team using computer-generated analysis.
As producer Michael DeLuca tells LA Times, “If you try to think of a movie star who could embody someone like Beane – a former athlete who’s an incredibly physical specimen with movie good looks — you pretty much get to Brad Pitt right away.”

I thought Angie and Brad take turns making movies while other watches the kids. Shouldn’t Brad be at home watching the kids until Angie is done with Salt. You don’t see Angie ever traveling or working as much as Brad seems to be doing these days while Angie is working. Why do I have a feeling Brad is going to have Angie stay at home permanently from now on as he keeps working and working to maintain his superstar status.

Thanks so much for the new thread. This is one of the few blogs I can check for new B&A news since I don’t go to the JJB threads anymore since they allow deranged whackjobs to keep switching their names and attack everyone and anyone like Bellacullen//Koolayda/Cricket/Hallefan/Cliniqua. Hard to put someone on ignore if every few days or weeks they switch names. Better to stick with JJ and just read and skip.
