well well well. now I like Leona even more. Obama can think about anything else besides act like a celebrity and be around them because I think HE has so much better thing to do besides this. Are you kidding me? This whole conversation is dumb. So what, she declined the Presidents invite, and quite politely I must say. It blows my mind that so many people worship this man so much as to say that when heaven forbid someone says no to him we should revolt against them and bring about their distruction. Pathetic! People with that mentality should not have been allowed to vote. Im not saying he won’t be a good president, I’m willing to give him a chance, but knowing that he was voted in by people who elevated him to a status greater than God, Im gonna be honest, it freaks me out. You wanted a president that was more like the everyday American, and not every American always gets what they want.

Does anyone actually read these comments? No wonder the Govt thinks it can do whatever it wants to whenever it wants too. All the govt has to do is look at these comments and realize that our country is so divided among ourselves and that is the way they want it. As long as we are so concerned about who is a Democrat or who is a Republican the govt knows we have taken our eye of the ball and given them free reign. Who cares what party they belong too! We need to be holding the Govt accountable and NEITHER PARTY is doing IT! So instead of placing blame why not come up with resolutions. As for Leona I like her and so what if she declined an invitation. It’s her life none of us know why she declined and really isn’t our business.

If I were her, I could have declined his offer too. I don’t agree with obama on any of his views; religion, gay rights, ect. And I wouldn’t make exceptions just because he’s the president

Why can’t we all get along. It’s very sad how we talk about so and so disrespected so and so. Yet on this site most of the coments make no sense, we disrespect each other openly like it’s nothin yet complain about the first lady and the Queen incident( which was completely unintentional, if any at all). We do not even have to like each other but we can still show some respect. We are all humans, like it or not. White or black we all will die some day. Democrats or republicans, when this country does well it’s good for us all; when it goes down we all feel it one way or the other. President Bush had his time, now it’s president Obama’s time to help this contry move forward, if he fails we all fail because we’re all in this together. I was against the war in Iraq, but the president at the time did what he thaught was necessary to keep this country safe. Now the current president is doing what he thinks is needed for this country to move forward with the stimulus package. Let’s see what happens within the next four years. Beleive it or not if this does not work even the most die hard democrat will think twice before the next election. I think Leona passed on a great oportunity to promote her next album, but i m not going to judge her, that’s her choice. She does what she thinks is best for her, no need to disrespect her or call her name, it’s uncalled for. Yet gain you can only give what you have, try to be more discreet please with your comments.
