Zac Efron: Ecstatic For Chace Crawford!
Chace Crawford strolls into Ill Sole Restaurant for dinner on Monday (June 1) in Los Angeles, Calif.
Zac Efron gave his approval for Chace to replace him in the upcoming Footloose remake. “I’m ecstatic for him,” Zac told Access Hollywood on Sunday at the 2009 MTV Movie Awards when asked about the Gossip Girl star taking the role he left vacant.
“We’re both in very different places and it just happened to work out,”he continued. “I think it’s gonna work out for the best.”

Wow, he really lost a lot of weight for his movie role. Doesn´t look that healthy.
Wonder how ecstatic he’ll be when FOOTLOOSE is a big blockbuster and he turned it down because he is getting too big for his “always falling down off his hips”, britches.
Chase is cuter and more talented so I think it was a great move.
Zac has the ugliest hair right now. If he is growing it for his next movie at least wash it and use a stylist for goodness sake!
Not only do they not look like brothers, Chace is so much more appealing then Efron. Plus he is more talented and not such a sissy.

You know in his heart Zac is hoping it bombs. I say Chace will do very well in this role and the movie will be a box office hit that the other guy will regret ever turning down.
