Well theres one thing for certain, shes not stuck up her own ass and dosent dress like a **** like a certain M.Carey.

lol # 26. i’m not saying that. i’m not a leona basher or a hater, but yeah as a fan of the others it took me some time to like her and i just think that she needs to be her true self and stop letting people run her. she needs to maybe write her own music, or try writing music for other singers/musicians and that’ll help her to break out of the generic…or she can follow the mariah whitney downfall trend and do the same thing forever and ever and ever. those two broke in when they were different…and i can’t say the same for ms. lewis. there are tonnes of voally sound artists now who come in all different mucial styles, but when those two broke out there weren’t that many who were well known. it sound like i’m blaming the internet for leona’s lack of super stardom success, but i’m not really. i’m just saying the times are different and the stuff she’s singing isn’t that much different but she’s new, she doesn’t have the history the others have and a built in fan base. doing a tv show is good and all and you’ll get automatic fans, but if there’s anything i’ve learned from watching lots of tv…tv fans are the most fickle out of the norm and will drop you at the dime of a hat. she’s talented. good for her. it’s what she’s doing with that talent that should really matter in the end. i haven’t seen/heard anything for me to think this chica is versatile or will become a versatile artist (doing covers doesn’t count…especially if you’re staying so true to the original song and i can recognize the cover). i think the people managing her aren’t doing it the right way. yes she’s sold millions of records or w/e singles and all that sh*t…i’m just saying the direction she’s getting isn’t the ultimate best for her and she could be better.

lol # 27. true dat. there’s always dat. i love mariah but she’s become dated. granted my entire family loves her and we have all her cd’s and my bros even listen to her, but we can never deny the obvious. also as a mariah fan i think i should just say that you can’t call mariah w/e you did that got starr’d out. lol. i don’t want the haters descending on me.

I totally agree that Leona is better than MAriah now,i confirmed it at the x factor,she sang Run,amazingly,perfectly.And MAriah was out of tune,and screaming,singing bad her song i stay in love.
