OlderMelissa Joan Hart Apologizes To Farrah Fawcett
Melissa Joan Hart has written an apology to cancer-stricken Farrah Fawcett after the NY Post overheard the 33-year-old actress saying that she hoped Farrah wouldn’t die so her bikini-clad cover would be published by People magazine.
The Sabrina the Teenage Witch star writes, “It has come to my attention that something I said has been completely misconstrued in the press. I was merely explaining what I had read about how the cover of People magazine was chosen from an article last week I read in the Times. I truly hope that Farrah and her family know I wish them the best at this time in her life. And that I would never be so selfish to disrespect anyone, let alone someone I admire greatly.”
Melissa continues, “Last week was an intense one for me in many regards. Not only for all the reasons that have been publicized for you like the magazine cover and the opening of our new shop. But mainly because my mother was admitted into the hospital and underwent an intense 8 hour surgery on a brain tumor. All of my 6 siblings and I gathered at my house and the hospital for the entire week to be strong for each other. She is out of the woods and on her way to recovery, luckily she is a good healer and has 7 children to lend a hand in times like these. Prayer is a big part of my life and it was very crucial last week for my mommy. I ask that you keep her in your thoughts and prayers as she fights her way to a full and wonderful recovery. I love you Mommy!!!”

This is horrible. While I know that going through a tough time is not an excuse to be a horrible person, I still feel sorry for her.
Who cares? She said something dumb, which she thought was
off the mike (insert any number of famous people who have done
such things w/o this type of hype)….
Stupid, careless, disrespectful - yes.
Not like she beat up & tried to kill someone (Chris Brown),
made racial slurs (Paris HIlton & Mel Gibson), or killed
someone in her car (a la Ted Kennedy).
Channel 5 caught her rude comment. NY Post reported it.
She responded.
She apologized. She did so publicly. She’ll take the hits.
At this point, I’m sure Farrah doesn’t care, nor does her family.
They have bigger things to be concerned with.
More than the rude and yet off the cuff comments of
a B star in Hollywood.
Who, yes, is in the midst of her own family problems w/health.
But, let’s move on please. Who cares.
She apologized. MOre than a lot of other famous people do.
Wish Farrah well, and Melissa’s mom well, and I hope this young
mother learns from this.

hey farrah has class and she has open the way for people to see how truely wonderful she is with her cancer and is a inspiration for other and mellisa it;s shocking to know that a 33 yrs old women needs that cover ,damn you really need duck tape on the mouth or maybe some one will put a dark spell on you.farrah has been doing tv and movie longer than you have been on tv and a few little movie on lifetime channel,farrah rocks and keep up the hard work farrah you will make it through it. i pray every day for you as for hart snap out of it shame on you.
when you are worried and could be losing your mother and you are a celebrity lets see how much your brain kicks in you say things you dont mean so lets give her a break this time. but if she continues to talk this way then thats way wrong.
