Miranda Kerr: No Engagement Ring!
Miranda Kerr rings the bell during the official launch of the David Jones Half Yearly Clearance at the David Jones Elizabeth Street Store on Wednesday (June 3) in Sydney, Australia.
The 26-year-old Aussie supermodel denied reports that she’s engaged to actor boyfriend Orlando Bloom.
“No engagement ring,” Miranda told press. “Don’t always believe what you read.”
When asked about what her parents thought about engagement rumors, Miranda joked. ”That’s just something they have to deal with isn’t it.”

Guess that it just comes down to a matter of personal taste.
I always prefer a well developed chest over a six pack. I guess that it may be becasue all of the guys that I have dated with nice six packs always spent more time looking in the mirror than I did. LOL!
I’d take Orlando’s version of buff over theirs any day. But that’s just me. I love Orlando’s body in those pics.
And it was pretty darned sweet the way he posed with that little girl.

I’m afraid that’s not gonna work for them now. There were several sightings of them together in Broome and days later there’s proof they were there, which means that the sightings of them together without pics were true. Unless they want us to believe that the people who claimed to have seen them are psychics who guessed they were there.

Orlando and Miranda want to see and be seen. They’re not a ‘private’ couple but a ‘publicity’ couple, and it’s only a few select people who are watching The Show and commenting - here and in a couple of other places. No one else cares enough to bother. I hope the 10-12 posters here enjoy talking to themselves.
Bloom and Kerr strike me as mediocre in their respective fields, and unfortunately I do get the feeling that they need each other more than really care for each other. I think they both want to “be set for life” are are willing to play whatever games they have to in order to maintain a certain life style. But that’s just my personal impression.
And their relationship is only on display to the degree they want it to be. If they really wanted true privacy, they would have it. If Johnny Depp, Viggo Mortensen, James McAvoy, Eric Bana and Matt Damon can do it, so can Orlando Bloom.
If Bloom didn’t have Kerr for his PR prop and publicity GF, he’d have to go back to the clubs and pap hang outs, wouldn’t he? Gone are the days when all his PR and publicity were rolling out like a thunderstorm, with one film and magazine interview after another, and regular publicity studio photo shoots in between.
Bloom relied too heavily on PR, publicity, fakery and schmoozing instead of on REAL acting ability and talent and skill. Sadly, this is the end result, along with being less than candid with his fans about a number of things.
He’s gotten what he’s worked for and earned, so he should be happy. I don’t consider Miranda unattractive at all; she’s quite pretty. She’s just over-rated, like Bloom has been all these years. They’re a good match!
Forgot to add that Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom have had the same publicist for years: Her name is Robin Baum.
Something to think about when discussing privacy issues and how Actor “A” can manage it but Actor “B” can’t. Why not employ the same privacy techniques on Bloom that are employed on Depp? I’ve wondered about that for a long time…….

I love how the shippers won’t even believe Miranda when she makes a statement about her relationship with Orlando….because it does not fit in with their agenda.

Viggo has been photographed with his significant others, so have all of the rest of the people that were mentioned by deja-vu. Not to mention the fact that they are all older and married. If you compared Orlando to another person in his age group, it would be someone like Leo or Jake. And we allll know how often they are photographed. Orlando is rarely photographed compared to those guys. But I know, that doesn’t fit in with deja’s agenda, so they will never be mentioned.
It’s just so funny how the haters twist things to fit their views, but ignore truths that get in the way.

At least she was strong enough to say exactly how she felt. He lets others speak for him. If he can’t handle being in the public eye, maybe he shouldn’t be.
But he hasn’t been in a position to be asked a question during this last bit of rumor mongering. She is the one making appearances and doing interviews right now. Why SHOULDN’T she be the one to make the statement when she had the opportunity. He would have had to call a press conference, or talk to paps to get the message across. But even then he is damned if he does. When he made the statement about his heart being in the hands of an Australian, he was accused of using the media to promote their “fake relationship”. Don’t pretend that that didn’t happen, just because it’s convenient for you to call him weak, now. He MADE a statement. LOUND AND CLEAR. But I guess that wasn’t “strong” enough for you? Even though he said EXACTLY how he felt?
She seemed to make a pretty strong statement herself just recently, didn’t she?
It takes two to have a relationship.
And he was asked the question, when they got off the flight at Brisbane. He did not say anything, she was standing right in front of him.
If he truly feels for her what he said at the telethon, why didn’t he say anything just recently? That telethon seems like a long time ago doesn’t it.
Or are we falling back into the line, “How such private people they are.”
She made the statement when he wasn’t with her. Neither one said anything about their relationship at the airport. Why does he need to make a statement as well?
Or is that the new rule? They must make a statement each and every time they are on camera or they are hiding?

And just because they aren’t engaged, doesn’t mean that they don’t love each other, or that they won’t be together for a long time. Just look at Johnny and Vanessa, they aren’t married. Does that mean that athey aren’t a real couple, or that they don’t have real feelings for each other? Just because they aren’t engaged, doesn’t mean that his heart isn’t really in her hands. Those two statements aren’t mutually exclusive.
They don’t have to do anything.
She could have said “no comment” as well when she was not with him.
But for two people who are so much in love, you think they would at least smile when asked questions about the other. Especially when they are together. They wouldn’t have to say anything. Most couples who are in love smile when they are seen together, whether they are famous or not.
All I’m pointing out, is in her statement, she didn’t exactly say how much she loved him now did she?
How come when he makes a statement, he says how much he loves her?
When she makes a statement, it’s,

Sounds to me that this so called relationship is a one way type of relationship.

To me the latest pics of them just look like a couple on a vacation. That’s it. She went to do the photo shoot, he went because he had some time off of and to visit. I think it was pretty private, for the most part. And in the airport pic of them it looks like her brother is with them also.
