It seems alcohol brings out Ashlee Simpson’s insecurities. The wife of Pete Wentz was fine talking to the Fall Out Boy bassist’s ex, Michelle Trachtenberg, at L.A.’s Wiltern Theater Monday night – but things got ugly when Ashlee started drinking. “I hope you know, the whole time you were dating Pete, I was f–ing him,” Ashlee screamed at Michelle. A rep for Ashlee says it was a misunderstanding and Ashlee has apologized to Michelle. Pete will celebrate his birthday this weekend at The Bank at the Bellagio.
On Tuesday night, Kate Hudson watched boyfriend Alex Rodriguez play ball from his personal stadium seats, but on Monday when the slugger’s team was finishing a series in Cleveland, she popped into Bar 108 to watch him on TV. Kate only stayed at the bar for an inning but was cheering the entire time.
Eminem has come clean about his awkward encounter with Bruno at the MTV Awards Sunday admitting to RapRadar.com that he was in on the stunt and “laughed uncontrollably” following the incident.
James Franco backed out of giving the commencement speech at UCLA, where he is an alum. He released a statement, saying, “I deeply regret not being able to keep my commitment to giving the commencement speech at UCLA’s graduation this year. Unfortunately the date conflicts with me needing to be on location to begin pre-production on my next film. I wish everyone in the 2009 class the best of luck in all of their future endeavors.”
