OlderDavid Carradine’s Last Pictures?
These may be the very latest pictures of Kung Fu star David Carradine, who was seen running errands barefoot on Thursday (May 21) in Tarzana, Calif.
The 72-year-old was seen buying newspapers at All-American Newsstand, driving his maroon Jaguar to Office Depot to pick up supplies and purchasing flowers from a local market.
Carradine wrestled with suicidal thoughts long before his death in a Bangkok hotel. A 2004 interview was dug up by The Telegraph Newspaper, where Carradine admits he considered shooting himself.
Carradine said, “Look, there was a period in my life when I had a single action Colt 45, loaded, in my desk drawer. And every night I’d take it out and think about blowing my head off, and then decide not to and go on with my life. Put it back in the drawer and open up the laptop and continue writing my autobiography or whatever. But it was just to see.”
UPDATE: Reuters is reporting that Carradine was found dead, naked and hanging from a rope in the closet of his hotel room in Bangkok on Thursday morning.

U.S. actor David Carradine was found dead, naked and hanging from a rope in the closet of his luxury Bangkok hotel room on Thursday, Thai police said.
Police said they were alerted to the death of the actor — who starred as the wandering monk in the long-running Kung Fu U.S. television series — on Thursday morning.

“He was found hanging by a rope in the room’s closet,” Lieutenant Colonel Pirom Jantrapirom of the Lumpini police station in Bangkok told Reuters.
He said Carradine’s body was naked when it was found and there were no signs of any other people in the room. The body has been transferred to a hospital for an autopsy.
U.S. embassy official Michael Turner earlier confirmed Carradine’s death and told Reuters that the body had been found at Bangkok’s Nailert Hotel.
“I can confirm that David Carradine passed away in Bangkok. We extend our condolences to his family,” Turner said.
Carradine had more recently starred in Quentin Tarantino’s Kill Bill films as Bill.

Not an expert or anything, but people who have suicidal thoughts on their mind.Hardly ever look depressed.They smile in your face act all happy go lucky and the next time you blink with your eye they are gone.

What a terrible tragedy! My parents just lost two close friends to suicide, so I can relate. Nothing more selfish and tragic than taking your own life IMO.
David Carradine does have a deranged look in his eyes, as evidenced by these photos. He also appears very morose, which often times is a percursor to these types of events.

suicide is indeed selfish but when someone is deeply depressed they think its the onky way out. I wonder what was wrong with corradine and why no one helped him when he already said he wanted to kill himself few yrs ago.

It wasn’t suicide. Who commits suicide naked with “a cord tied around their neck and other parts of their body”…it was a “kinky gone wrong”…

Yep he died while pleasuring himself and cuttingoff his own air supply to increase pleasure. His people are now trying to cover that up, but initially reports were saying the rope was around his genitals aswell. He was naked, why would he kill himself naked people? lol. It is terribly sad but it’s such a stupid thing to do anyway.

@w.d.: maybe the look on his face in these pictures are because paparazzi won’t leave him the hell alone and he is a little ticked off. Its very sad about his death, but I really think that a thorough investigation needs to be performed with American officials before all these conclusions are jumped to.

Anyone can have scowl in bright sunlight, especially if he was up late the night before.
He’s buying flowers which means his mind is on someone else’s feelings. A depressed person is self absorbed and cannot look outside himself. The way he was tied, he could not have managed that alone.
There was foul play, whether it was a hooker/sex act gone wrong and the girl freaked and ran off, or straight out murder set up to look like a sex act gone wrong.
I do not believe this was suicide.
Yes, David had a scowl on his face, it was a sunny day… and he could have been up late the night before. I don’t go around with a smile on my face 24/7.

A depressed person is too self absorbed to be thinking outside oneself to remember others. I speak from experience. Everything else is forgotten and swallowed by your own pain.
The way he was tied up was impossible to manage alone. That’s why the police are looking into foul play. This was either a sex act gone wrong and the hooker freaked and ran off. Or, murder, set up to look like a sex act gone wrong to throw off police.
Unfortunately we may never know for sure.
