Angelina Jolie Takes Time Magazine
Angelina Jolie takes to Time Magazine to voice her case against Sudanese President Omar al Bashir, who has been indicted on seven counts of war crimes and five counts of crimes against humanity.
The 33-year-old refugee advocate writes, “Friday is a defining moment in the history of justice. The members of the United Nations Security Council will be presented with the results of the International Criminal Court’s Darfur investigation — an investigation that they requested. Their response will determine whether there is going to be an international standard of justice that holds perpetrators accountable for the worst crimes in the world.”
She continues, “Today the Security Council member states will be faced with a simple decision — to embrace impunity or to end it. As they are considering Bashir’s fate they are also considering their own.”

Roger won the 4th set 6-1. He better play the same way in the 5th or I’m going to France and kicking his ass!

It’s not on ESPN today. It’s on NBC…it came on at 11am Eastern…right before Roger’s match started. Soderling finished about 10:30, but they held Roger’s match 40 mintues for NBC to start their coverage.
Wonderful creation in and out.
Tks for the new thread JJ and hello to all JP fans. Any news or pictures on her B-day….pls post at least one. Tks
groundcontrol - how thoughtful of you to bring into this thread your insights that you have already posted on the other thread. I hope all those who think your opinion counts read them - I for one will not. What does it feel like being so full of yourself?
Shite. Roger was up a break, now he’s lost serve and Del Potro’s pulled even and he’s got the mo…

beauty is in the eye of the beholder you dumbwit. unlike you, Jolie has more things to worry about than her look. it’s you who should shut your mouth when you have nothing good to say.
incase you didn’t understand…
la belleza está en el ojo del observador que dumbwit. a diferencia de usted, Jolie tiene más cosas de que preocuparse por su apariencia. es usted quien debe cerrar la boca cuando no tienes nada bueno que decir.

I don’t know why it is not showing in my area. I checked the tennis channel, espn2 and nbc and NOTHING!
“Thanks brangie fans. bwa! here’s a pic of B&A standing side by side http://i41.tinypic.com/2ijpy5w.jpg he looks a good 20 years older than she does.”
She is amazing!!!!!! Angie has her priorities in order. She is a loving, caring and strong, intelligent woman. We should all be proud as women.
Thanks. I love how she tries to redirect all the attention on her to things in the world that really matter. Who gives a **** about their relationship when people are killing others in mass amounts and getting away with it because we are too interested in celebrity culture.
I want your job - you get paid for being on JJ - (well at least your boss thinks you are working for him but we know better) how can I get a job like that - what are your hours 9 to 5?
That’s weird that your NBC station wasn’t showing it. Mine always has the French men’s semis live.
.
BTW - ITA about Soderling on Sunday. Roger needs to bring it from the opening set and not let these guys hang around thinking they have a chance. You should have read the British Yahoo feed. The guy was cracking me up the way he was salivating on Roger’s movement. At one point toward the end of the match he said -
.
he (Del Potro) is having to play well because Federer is looking SUPERB now. Has he been getting training from David Blaine or something? Because he is levitating around the court at the moment and producing some superb winners.
.
The Brits crack me up!
.
Also - read on Yahoo earlier that Nadal pulled out of next week’s Queen’s Club event because his knees are bothering him again. Oh well…however…he does plan to play Wimbledon if his doctor clears him to play.
Has she become a member of Amnesty International?
My mother is an active member of AI and writes exactly the same as what AJ says here.
I think it’s cool that Angelina is speaking up on the issue. Why doesn’t Oprah do stuff like this? She remains silent.
