gracie @ 06/05/2009 at 5:34 pm Angie is an inspiration to all women, she is a doer and works tirelessly for the poor and displaced. She has compassion and not self absorbed like most Hw actresses. She is only 34 and has accomplished a lot in her 34yrs than most people older achieve in their life time. The best thing about her is she never asks for anything in return, that in my book puts her at the top of the list of most inspiring people. When you are this kind and generous, only the good come to you regardless of what the haters wish.

If/when agression (invading a sovereign country) becomes a crime, it will be hard for the ICC to catch Bush, because the US won’t cooperate. The US does not recognize the ICC. The only way to catch Bush would be if he leaves the country.
Remember Pinochet? He was lucky to have Margaret Thatcher help him. I doubt Bush would have anyone help him!
If I remember correctly, I read that Henry Kissinger loves soccer, and used to attend every World Cup, but he missed the one in Germany because he was worried about becoming another Pinochet. He knows there are people after him.

lol. ANGELINA JOLIE IS NOT PERFECT AND IN FACT SHE IS A CELEBRITY, AN ACTRESS. so there it is. she has a career, a freakin profession. she is not a politician, a laywer, an environmentalist, a doctor, an aide worker, etc…she knows who she is and what she does. her profession (and i used to be among the ones who used to say that oh why are all these celebrities becoming involved in matters that don’t concern them/they know nothing about especially first hand, but then i realized that my cousins back home who live hand to ground and are poor know who these celebrities are, they follow the news here, they watch cnn…and yet in reality they are stuggling, running away from malitia etc…) does not disallow her to be passionate about whatever, and her career does not disallow her right to be a human, react humanly, be concerned about matters of the world, and to give back or act in a positive or a negative manner. SHE IS A FCUCKING HUMAN, even if she is also a celebrity. there is a duality with her lifestyle and maybe what she represents but she is not the first nor will she be the last, and in fact many people live dual lives, say something and do something else and that doesn’t deny her the right to learn about something, be passionate about something and impart herself or her knowledge onto others. that’s not the world we live in and that is most definately not the world i would want to live in because it would probably impeded communication and the sharing that is so important to being human. i think it’s nice to criticise because you feel it’s in your right, but if so then it is alright for her to criticise because it is also her right. why would you disallow her to being herself when you are also allowed to live in the world and be yourself. i hate when people who don’t know anything become politicians or people who feel because they’re born into something (it’s their birth right) so therefore they have to continue it. be smarter. it’s okay if you don’t idolize angelina jolie. she is not asking for your accolades. allow some of us the vanity we get by coming to this website and celebrating who she is.

don’t hate the player hate the game and she’s not the only one doing it. stop being a hypocrite.

Angelina went to the trial before she attended Cannes with her hubby. I simply don’t know how she finds the time, but I do admire her for caring. I know she has a heart of gold.

Thanks Jared, I loved the article in Time. I buzzed it up and put a digg in too. Needs many more diggs though. What a great writer Angelina is. Such a sad case this is for those poor people who have been neglected all these years. Angelina hasn’t forgotten the people who still struggle to survive and is making sure that the world doesn’t forget either. I too hope justice is served.
