Hugh Jackman to Neil Patrick Harris: Have Fun Hosting!
Hugh Jackman is all smiles as he arrives at LAX airport with his son Oscar, 9, in Los Angeles on Friday (June 5).
The 40-year-old Aussie actor is a three-time host of the Tony Awards and most recently hosted the Oscars, so it’s no wonder that this year’s host for the Tonys reached out to him.
“I saw [Hugh] three or four days ago, and he couldn’t have been lovelier,” Neil told People. “I was asking him how to maintain the audience at Radio City [Music Hall]’s attention and [Hugh] had some good tips for me. He seemed very confident and said, ‘Make sure you don’t forget to have a lot of fun.’”
The Tony Awards will air LIVE @ 8PM ET/PT on Sunday, June 7 on CBS.

He is just so gorgeous and such a family man. His wife is one lucky woman.
i don’t get it…even when his wife isn’t pictured, people feel the need to say mean things about her…what’s she ever done to anybody to draw all this mean spirited commentary? it’s just juvenile and hateful for no reason…

What has been said (so far) that’s mean or insulting about her? People are only stating that she’s old. And she is OLD!!! It’s not like they’re lying. And saying she is old isn’t really talking bad about her because It’s more than an opinion, it’s a fact! She will be 54 this year. No one has called her ugly. They’re just saying that she’s “old”.
Just so you all know, when Hugh & Deb married, HUGH was considered the LUCKY one. Deb was gorgeous, and men absolutely lusted after her. Frankly, she’s still a gorgeous woman.

Just because Hugh & Deb claim that men lusted after her doesn’t make it true. If she was such a babe as they insist then why was she playing ‘mom’ roles back in the 80s?
She’s deluding herself if she thinks anyone buys that she’s in the same age group as Demi Moore, Cate Blanchette, Julianne Moore and Halle Berry.

First, 53 is not old. I think it’s real bad how we as women put each other down. Secondly, she was beautiful enough to pull Hugh Jackman. That’s a feat that a lot of women could never achieve. I think it’s real cool that we’ve a younger man staying with an older woman. Don’t we get enough of older men dumping their wives to go with younger women, not only in Hollywood but everywhere else, too.
Mrs P - I don’t recall Deb ever saying that men lusted after her in the 80s. Can you provide your source?? It’s men other than Hugh who have said that about her!
Obviously the age difference does not matter to Hugh and Deb, it only matters to small-minded, shallow people who lie in wait to post their nasty comments bout his wife. Deb is an accomplished, creative woman in her own right who has chosen to be the best wife and mother she can possibly be. She must be doing something right because Hugh looks like a very happy man when he’s with her and their kids.
I think people don’t like Deb because she is a female version of the “dirty old man” robbing the cradle.
Also, what’s she doing playing “mum” to a 3 year old at her old age?

these people post the same comments on all HJ posts. (and probably on other posts as well).
sometimes the comments are eerily similar, I wouldn’t be surprised if many of them are by the same people using several different names. I suggest ignoring them, they just want attention.
Good luck Neil! Not surprising advice from Hugh-he seems to have fun in everything he does. I think that is part of his appeal (besides being talented, sweet and gorgeous). His happiness and love of life is just contagious. I agree with snoopy it is best to ignore the haters. They are just shallow and jealous and will never appreciate a love like the one Hugh has for Deb. How sad.

@Kyle: Playing “mum” - shows your ignorance on several levels. One does not “play” at being a parent, it’s the most challenging thing a person can do. Photos do not do justice to Mrs. Jackman’s grace and beauty. Yes, I’ve seen her half a dozen times in person. She may not be as photogenic as her husband but she is an attractive, witty and charming woman.
