Michelle Obama Obama Hails D-Day Heroes
First Lady Michelle Obama joins husband President Barack Obama, French First Lady Carla Bruni-Sarkozy and French President Nicolas Sarkozy at the Caen Prefecture on Saturday (June 6) in Caen, France.
The two couples attended the commemorations marking the 65th anniversary of the June 6, 1944 allied landings in Normandy, northwestern France.
“As we face down the hardships and struggles of our time and arrive at that hour for which we were born,” Mr. Obama said during a solemn tribute. “We cannot help but draw strength from those moments in history when the best among us were somehow able to swallow their fears and secure a beachhead on an unforgiving shore.”

Yes, she’s beautiful though she has an athlete’s body. Here we go…she now proudly looks like our “First Lady”. Personally, I find her in slacks (without a long tunic blouse or coat) unattractive since she has a high waist and long legs.

Michelle looks beautiful so does Carla. Barack refined as always and Sarkozy looks very short next to the first Lady of America and our President. Wow, history in the making. Forever will go down in the history books. Man, I wish my life was that exciting!
Michelle made a bad choice pairing white with silver for a daytime outdoor event. The metalic silver belt and shoes are best for evening events. Also, the wide belt directly under her breasts is weird and overall the style of the dress accentuates her already wide hips and behind. Carla Bruni selected a much more appropriate and flattering ensemble.
Why would someone wear white to a memorial of the deaths of thousands of servicemen? And I wish she would see an ophthalmologists because that one eye that squints closed all the time is a sign of the need for some glasses.
It figures no one here knows how politics works. Obama is a joke. Obama hasn’t done anything while in office. Prices on everything keeps going up. People are still getting laid off yet the American taxpayers are paying for Michelle and her girls to vacation in Paris.

Wow, meetings with every single major head of state. Trhongs of people at their feet, the highest honor, etc. Pretty good for a girl from the South Side of Chicago/ Wow, to thing only a handful of people will ever experience what lovely Michelle is experiencing. I truly believe some people are born to go down in history and have great lives that are out of the ordinary while the majority of people are born to watch from the sidelines. Law of nature. I mean I would love to be Angelina Jolie but only a handful of people can reach that level. Pretty impressive I must say. Smart, educated first lady for a change. I love it.

Now let’s look at Obama’s short record, he came into office with a 6.8 unemployment rate, after his 5 months it’s 9.4%, a 27 year high, not looking so good so far, the Dow on Jan 20 was over 9000, and under Obama it went to 6400 and is crawling back up, Obama in 5 months in office has spent over 2.5 trillion dollars just on stimulus and bailouts ( that doesn’t include TARP money) more then the Iraq, Vietnam and the New Deal combined and people are still losing jobs at a record pace, with no end in sight even thou this is becoming longest recession, he then passes a stimulus bill that spends only 18% of it’s money this year, with most of the money spent in 2011 to 2016 you know right before his re-election, really cares about the little guy that Obama, he took over Chsyler and GM, with plans to give the companies to the unions and the government, so he can pay back the Unions that spent 500 million in the election to get him elected and with control he can then force the Car companies to make death trap tin can cars but eh…. they get great mileage, then has plans to pass a Cap and Tax that will force the public to buy these death trap tin can cars, he took over the mortgage industry, won’t allow the Banks to pay back TARP so he can control them, has plans to take over the American Health Care System, rationed Health Care for the middle class, so that he can make sure that all those illegal immigrants he wants voting for him 2012, first by an immigration bill, then by staying healthy with a free Public Health Care, submits a budget to congress that doubles the national debt in 5 years and in those 5 years he spends more money then George Washington TO George Bush COMBINED, he then triples it in 10, with trillion dollar deficits for a decade, which is unsustainable, higher taxes middle class here they come and even with much higher taxes, by the time he leaves office Americans will be surfs to the Chinese and other foreign governments, you know the 18 to 29 year old group that voted for this guy, will that’s who he really screws over.
Sorry I don’t have time to mention is foreign policy, I’ll just note that he hasn’t meet a dictator or tyrant he doesn’t mind, but America the true evil in the world he can’t stop criticizing or apologizing for it, especially on foreign soil, I guess he heard a lot more then he remembered from the good Rev Jeremiah Whight sermons then we thought.

Bush is to blame because Obama has spent trillions of dollars America doesn’t have to pay back all the interests groups that got him elected, Bush is to blame because Obama wants to have a huge government that controls every industry and American life, with government run Health Care, a government Auto Industry, a government run Banking Industry, control over energy from the car you can buy, to the light bulb you can buy, to making heating your house more expensive, to making the food you eat more expensive with a Cap and Trade, that ’s just a huge tax on Americans, that will drive jobs and companies out of America to Asia. Bush is to blame that even though Obama has spent trillions, the unemployment rate these last 5 months has gone to a 27 year high. Bush is to blame because Obama inherited a recession, just like Bush inherited a recession from Clinton and Clinton inherited one from Bush Sr, and Reagan inherited one from Carter, that wasn’t an excuse to break America’s bank with a 2 TRILLION yearly deficit( the deficit was 450 million in 2008) and to take over every industry he can. Bush is to blame that Obama has a budget that triples the National debt to over 30 TRILLION dollars. Bush is to blame that bond lenders and investors have seen the amount of debt Obama wants to rack up that their buying oil to hedge from the US dollar collapsing, oil went from $35 to $70 a barrel in 2 months even with no demand. There is a reason that America’s banker, China has suddenly become worried about it’s holdings of American dollars and bonds and it isn’t because of Bush.
Lets see since all these Obama supporters are calling President Bush trash and names, let’s compare the lives and family of the 2. George Bush ancestors came to America on the MayFlower, is related to the royal family of England, grandfather was a United States Senator, his father was the head of the CIA, a diplomat, the Vice President for 8 years and President for 4, Second time in America’s 250 year history that a father and son have become President. His parents have been married for 65 years. Then we have Obama, who met his father twice in his life, who was a goat herder from Kenya, his grandmother lives in some hut with no running water, he has a aunt who is a illegal alien, that’s living in the Boston Welfare Projects, Obama has a dozen half brothers and sisters, some he has never met, but there is that one that lives on a dollar a day in Africa and has asked through the media for some “money for a brother”. Obama mother got knocked up at 18 by some African she barely knew who had a wife back in Kenya, but that was O”K because of his muslin religion he can have more then one wife. His farther then ditches his wife and baby, she then ditches Obama with his grandparents, while she goes and marries some muslin from Indonesia, who she later divorces. My comments on the political situation: I voted for Obama but have yet to see the real change we were promised, only rubber stamping of Bush policies starting with keeping Bill Casey’s stooge, and career CIA man, Bobby Gates on as SecDef . And don’t get me started about those two Wall Street stooges, Geithner & Summers, but the icing on the cake was BO’s speech in Egypt where he warned not to challenge the official 9/11 story. The 911 Commission was a whitewash and Mr. Change You Can Believe In endorses it to keep the fear game going? Makes you wonder WTF is really going on.

With the dire straits our country and the world is in, it is very trivial
to be so concerned about the apparel that is worn. We all should be
grateful that we have clothing and that it can be purchased at reasonable prices. That said, I will join you in adding my 2 cents about Michelle’s and Carla’s outfits (the outfit Mrs. Brown wore was so ill fitting, I won’t even bother with it). White and cream are considered
neutrals so there is nothing wrong with wearing them to a memorial
ceremony. After all, this is spring/summer. Black, gray, beige, camel,
dark teal, navy, brown and dark purple would also have been appropriate - just as long as it wasn’t a bright color. I did not like the
silver belt and shoes though. In addition to being inappropriate, Michelle wears those belts she wears placed entirely too high. She is short waisted to begin with and these belts worn so high just emphasize it plus it makes her clothing underneath bunch up and spoils the lines of the outfit. With her stauesque body she would look better in a long, unbroken line thereby not callling attention to the short waist. Carla’s belt was much more flattering being more narrow and placed at her waist. I have studied fashion design, and
worked in all ends of the fashion industry all my life and these are just
some observations.
