Reese Witherspoon and boyfriend Jake Gyllenhaal shop at the Marni boutique in the SoHo neighborhood of New York City on Saturday afternoon (June 6).
Marni is an Italian design house that is brightly colored with kaleidoscopic murals and freeform mirrors, which provide a vibrant backdrop for the label’s quirky yet sophisticated women’s collection.
Reese will be spending 14 weeks in Washington D.C. this summer shooting her new not-yet-titled James L. Brooks movie. Jack Nicholson is currently in talks to join the cast.

Paula. there is enough chemistry between them for Jake to live with Reese in Brentwood and be with her constantly. It doesn’t make sense to anybody with a brain that two people without “chemistry” would spend their lives together although they are not married. I think you have intelligence “problems”. Lack of rational thinking. Jake reportedly doesn’t like paps and is a private person. But actors have to accept them since they are in the “look at me” business and paps allow people to look at them.

Look at Leann Rimes and her gay husband, they have been married for 7 yrs and everybody in his family knows he is gay,….unfortunatelly there are lots of gay men married to women. An example is one of our fav. movies BBM,yes, Whortensia, sad,….but true.
Perhaps you are confusing gay with bi. Some men are into both sexes you know. But in Jake’s case you need to prove it all, and you can’t. The pure logic says he is not gay and neither Dunst nor Reese was/is his beard. I think you like to think you know lots more “inside” info than you do. Sad that it makes you feel good to say he is gay when he almost certainly isn’t. Do you have mental problems, like SE?
Now for a funny. You can look up Jake’s supposed address on Intelius for a small fee. The info comes out that he lives at 455 North Sweetzer in LA (Zillow says the address doesn’t exist) and that his house is worth 435 thousand and his average earnings at about $45,000. So you can see how reliable Intelius is. (Worthless). On the other hand his father owns a house in Massachusetts with a public address and telephone and Jake sometimes is there, at least in the summer.
One needs to know what irrational urges makes people want to think Jake is gay. The problem doesn’t lie with him but with the people who fantasize about him and his sexuality. Does thinking he is gay make him more attractive? It would to gay men, of course. But to women? To straight men? The impulse to think he is gay is a problem located in the observers, not in Jake. It is odd and fascinating that so many find it emtionally satisfying to think he is when logic screams out that he is not. I can’t really believe that his mere acting in BBM is the cause of this. Or are these people so stupid they think actors ARE the people they are pretending to be? If so, what idiots. Bette Davis pretended to be Queen Elizabeth among other people, but I don’t recall people forever after saying she really was Queen Bess herself. LOL
he,he, no whortensia, I don’t know anything about Jake’s life and I couldn’t care less,…I’m just saying there is a posibility that a gay man can be with a woman, even when it’s not his preference, there are loads of cases out there. I’m not bothered about their fame, money, houses or anyhthing else like you are to get that info, I’m just giving an opinion,my opinion, and I guess I’m entitled to one, everybody has.
Of course you can have your opinion, even if it is illogical and stupid which it is. But I would think people would prefer not to publicize their stupid opinions. Of course some can’t tell the difference.

People never cease to amaze me about the comments they make about these two. They must be very jealous people to say such nasty things about two celebrities who do not in anyway seek the limelight like some others I could mention.
Why would Reese play at this charade for over two years and involve her children if it wasn’t true. She doesn’t need Jake for publicity as she is the more well known of the two at this moment.
