Hollywood goddess Angelina Jolie is the July 2009 cover girl for Harper’s Bazaar’s. Here are some snippets from the lead story “Why Women Want Angelina Jolie’s Life” via essayist Naomi Wolf:

Thanks… so tired of these uptight, sick-minded perverts. The concept that some of us can be evolved enough to show affection to our family members w/o it being seen as weird or sexual is a foreign concept to these people.
I don’t use the word “Brangelina” and I honestly dislike the trend to immediately combine 2 people’s names into one trendy word. (No offense Jared) I’ve been a fan of both individually for years and they seem to be good people in their own right. I’ve been a fan of Angie’s so long, I remember buying gay & lesbian magazines for the articles on her b/c they were the only ones writing about her (granted this is like 12 or so years ago).
I find it ironic that some of you have these amazing insights to her personality and her issues from pap photos and bad gossip. Seriously? I’ve been reading about her in interviews, etc for over a decade and I don’t know her. You know, b/c we don’t hang out in the same social circles. What special powers do you people have?

hey # 58 good comment. same here. in the same boat. i’m a part of the fan collective and probably follow her and his career because i am like a lot of other fans…and i try to keep the crazy to a minimum, but i don’t like people who talk out of their a$$ in their responses.

What i admire about her so much is that she has grown from this wild child chick into this mature, well respected woman and a loving mother. And the fact that she is so beautiful and talented and has Brad Pitt makes me so jealous.

I do have a soft spot for Angie but like you I am waiting for something out of her past to intervene in her present or future. People only change if they have a real spiritual intervention and I haven’t seen or heard of that yet. So basically this is the Angie from her past trying hard to be the opposite - at some point it will crash around her and then hopefully she will get well. I don’t think her brother is in the same place as he was so I don’t see that sick relationship following the same course - if anything he may lead her into a more enlightened person and help pick up the pieces. I also think her father is very much there getting ready to catch her. Brad Pitt took advantage of her and still is.

People change when they own up to their mistakes, learn from them and evolve, which in my opinion Angelina Jolie has done.
You don’t know anything about this woman, other than what she has stated, and if you are dumb and evil enough to believe tabloids then that says alot more about YOUR SPIRITUAL AND MENTAL HEALTH than hers. And exactly what has she done in the last 7 or 8 years that you base your statements on? She adopted a child, met a man fell in love and started a family with him. She has made several critically acclaimed movies and been involved in humitarian activities. WoW get a straight jacket on the woman.

Yep. Just another rag jumping on the bandwagon. If they need sales so badly then why didn’t they commission ME to write a story for them - “Jennifer Aniston: Why America’s Sick Of This Ho.”

And in all of this craziness she lives her life and loves her and Brad’s kids the best she can and does her job - which includes interviews and magazine covers. She’s smart, sexy and uses her celebrity as best she can to help bring attention to more important issues about the safety and wellbeing of children around the world when she travels with little fan fare - one body gaurd, and hand picked photograhpers who are told to focus their pictures on those who she is there to visit in her job as ambassador. Many others celebs would be travel wih huge entourages and make into a whole PR stunt on a daytime tv special. Ahem. I dont know her but I wish her the best.

I see the trolls beat most of the fans to the thread again. I wonder how many times a minute they load Jared’s homepage looking for new Angie threads…
I like Angelina, but never wanted to be her or ever thought about being with her. And to those who are harping on Marisa for commenting on her opinion she has a right to them just like the rest of you. This site isn’t dedicated to those who are fans but for anyone!
