Brad Pitt Checks Out ‘Art Basel 40′
A solo Brad Pitt visits the international art show Art 40 Basel, in Basel, Switzerland on Tuesday (June 9).
Art 40 Basel features more than 300 leading art galleries from all continents. Contemporary art works by over 2500 artists will be on display from June 10 through June 14, 2009. The exhibition includes the highest-quality paintings, sculptures, drawings, installations, photographs, video and editioned works.

Ummmmm, the man who has NO TASTE is worth way more than you … and his partner is a woman respected on a world class level … she can call presidents, prime ministers, UN head honchos … and she has the ear of Clint Eastwood, Ron Howard, the elite of Hollywood … yep, what a life he has, huh??
Art is an investment, he will make a bigger profit later on. Brad is smart, has been around for some time now, he can afford this and charitable events. He makes that kind of money in less than a month so there is no need to hate, you jealous hens.
Brad has a great taste. I love the painting.

Don’t bother wasting your energy defending Brad buying the painting. The trolls will always find something to snark about. They could have tried Mother Teresa’s patience. They got all snotty last year when he dropped $500K at the same show. I thought the painting was fug myself, but it ain’t my money, so I could care less what it cost. These trolls, on the other hand, can’t comprehend spending that kind of money on a painting. After all, they think investing is a Christmas Club account.

Reading these freaking trolls comments makes my brain hurt. Now this idiot “lostchick” is questioning how Angie can be named “The Worlds most Powerful Celebrity” and not have female friends. How can a whole segment of society be this STUPID?
I think these two are going to be taking time off from the movie biz when they can to spend time together and with the kids.
They,as very rich people, can indulge in some hobbies, like investing in art collections, or, as Angie, besides being a mom and an actress, she loves to do work for the benefit of refugees. Also, can someone please explain how this Angie woman is the most powerful woman in the world? ups sorry, maybe I meant celebrity, since the list is composed of men and women.
Of course, maybe I need to read that the list was created taking into account fame and earnings, not number of female friends that the actresses show up around or make photo ops with. Instead of pubiciting freindships, Anguiue has besides meaningful friendships outside the biz, a large and beautiful family. Of course that can take a lot of time an attention.
Geez, it must be hard to manage and equate and find time to doall! but real women are known to do that, to raise a family and have a career, sometimes friends wait for you to have time for tham, or catch up using internet or the phone. Sorry to be off topic. Brad in these pics seems like he loves enjoying his hobbies,ad cannot wait to show these paintings and share his experience in Basel with Angie.

IT’S JOHNNY DEPP’S BIRTHDAY. Where is the love? He is more famous than Angelina Jolie. I’ve followed this man’s career since 21 Jump Street.
The painting he bought may not be what we call art. But he does love architecture and the way things fit together.. I am sure it will look good where every he decided to display it.
