I bet Angelina is in France right now waiting for brad to go back to La so she can relax with the pool boy. Brad sure does give her a lot of space to meet new men. I wonder if she has. we don’t get any real solid gossip or pictures on her anymore. it’s all family or how brad is talking to his ex. never about Angelina or her possible other dudes. she must have another man since the media is silent about it. I would laugh my **** off if it turns out that while all eyes on Brad’s every move she’s making out with the stunt double. bwhahaha ;;)))
Passing Through…if you weren’t harping on something, we’d begin to wonder if you were okay. xoxo

Yeah…that was a hilarious night. You (and your gazillion ex-fiancees), Dragonfly and, IIRC, Maniston and Gitane were killing it that night.!
++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
That’s right… Ginate and Maniston were there that ‘firecrotch’ night. Crap it was over 3 years ago wasn’t it? Anyho…I know it was very late at night or early morning..and I thought geez you are revealing too much…but Dragonfly came with her trump card…all I could do was bow to the master and admit defeat ROTFLMAO…Geez I wonder if that thread is still in the archieves. I know we lost a few threads during the JJ black-out. If you know if it’s still around could you email it to me. It will be a hoot re-reading the posts….

BASEL-Expectations for an action-packed, transaction-frenzied preview opening for Art Basel 2009, the 40th edition of Europe’s splashiest art fair, were barely on the radar screen when the doors opened for VIP cardholders at 11 a.m. on June 9.
Many exhibitors chose less expensive and less ambitious works to try to tempt buyers in the new economic climate.
“It seems like everybody’s brought interesting things,” said New York private dealer Neal Meltzer, caught striding across the booth of New York’s PaceWildenstein Gallery, “but it doesn’t have that sense of urgency.”
“Before, we brought over a mixed bag of works for millions of dollars,” said gallery co-owner John Cheim, who cited Joan Mitchell and Louise Bourgeois as examples, “but this time we decided to have an idea show. Hopefully, this will appeal to museum curators and directors as well as collectors.”
A number of important American collectors were spotted during the late-morning rush hour, including L.A.’s Eli Broad, St. Louis’s Ron Pizzuti, and Connecticut’s Douglas Cramer. There was even a celebrity sighting, with movie star Brad Pitt seen wandering the aisles in a brimmed cap, tinted glasses, and faded blue jeans. And Russian oligarch Roman Abramovich made an appearance as well.
As starstruck fair-goers buzzed around trying to capture Pitt’s presence with cell phone cameras, others made a beeline to the one-artwork-dominated stand of Zurich’s Bruno Bischofberger, a stalwart presence at Basel since the fair was founded in the late 1960s.
The attraction inside the booth’s silver-papered exterior walls was Andy Warhol’s immense, space-hogging Big Retrospective Painting from 1979, which Bischofberger acquired in 1980 along with the artist’s entire series of postmodern works that replicate his previous paintings and series from the 1960s, from flowers and Marilyns to car crashes and Campbell’s Soup cans.

I saw that story a while back, but I was never sure if it was that Brad’s lounger or someone else’s. Do you know? IIRC there are less than 20 of them in the world?
.
>>>>>>>>
.
No, the lockheed lounge sold didn’t belong to Brad. According to the reports, the lounge sold in this auction had been used by Madonna in some music video called rain in the 90s.
.
I imagine that a lockheed lounge with a Brad Pitt provenance would be revealed. After all, I would guess that that sort of provenance (not to mention, the fact that Angelina was photographed lying on it), would raise the price of his lounge a little. :-)
.
The auction was held in April 2009, not a good time for the stock market generally. The uptick in the stock market still hadn’t taken hold. However, the lockheed lounge still fetched US$1.6m (using the pound - $ exchange rate at the date of auction).
.
Only 15 of these lockheed lounges were made.

From previous thread re: Kathy Lee

Thank you embo for your postings of the Kathie Lee articles. I remember reading about this when it happened. This is such a sensitive issue…i.e. this is a jumble of moral, ethical and economic factors at play but there is always another side from which to take into consideration and then the dilemma of a dead end solution. I can understand the “sweatshop” conditions being considered horrible especially as it is viewed by America and other first world countries where standards of conditions of living and working are the frame of reference…certainly we should be appalled. These issues should be brought to the attention of all.
However, not to offend or touch upon anyone’s righteous sensitivities but unlike the worse conditions imaginable in a specific area of the US, millions of people in third world countries live on dirt floors, with no windows or doors, just curtains if they are fortunate…no running water, multiple families share just one room as living quarters, no toilet facilities at all and babies as well as the very old walk to the nearest river or lake to bath in p.o.o.p water shared with other animals. This is their life on a day to day basis.
I have volunteered in a free medical clinic for the poorest of the poor in Honduras and the normal living conditions for these people is typically dirt floors, no running water and if water, it smells out of the tap like sewage. I have seen babies and toddlers on respirators for hours at a time held by their mothers in the clinic’s hallway because the constant dirt inhaled leads to high repiratory problems and a high mortality rate. Only one out of six children ever finish the fifth grade due to poverty causing a high drop out rate. The equivalent of the “Governor” in the region I became familiar with has a fourth grade education.
I present this information only because “the sweat shop” concept is only as important as the usual and customary environment. Yes it is horrible but no more than the reality that what Americans want at the price that we want to pay is available off the backs and hard labor of the very young and old who work in terribly unsanitary and dangerous conditions in far away countries…however please be reminded that these people live every day in those environments, that without even these jobs, there would be no work for them at all, that the more comfortable countries demand of low price goods is what is propelling these very work environments, that third world countries offer no social service support system or financial aid and these people and their families would go hungry and/or die without those pennies a day, that “pennies a day” are worth more in a third world country enough to purchase food to get by on.
I’m not offering any solution, nor am I criticizing anyone including Kathie Lee or the people offended by this issue. However, one should put everything in perspective. The economic and social chain reaction is a lot more complicated and consequently people judge and criticize from their armchair based only on how it is presented in the media without having been there. The reality is these conditions exist and the demand and desire for inexpensive electronics, big screen TV’s, clothing, etc is also the responsibility of the buyer and our own economy, social status needs and wants. We are all apart of the total and simple indignation isn’t worth much, sorry to say.
Btw embo, I don’t know why Kathy Lee Gifford speaks disparagingly of AJ but I wouldn’t assume it’s because she was totally knowledgeable of what she was getting into re: her clothing line…Kathy Lee is not exactly the most intelligent nor worldly sophisticated of talk show hosts. She was just probably being the opportunist to get her name out there on a line of clothing. IMO…and it’s just an opinion, that Kathi Lee was more aligning herself with the “AJ stole a husband” theme since Frank Gifford had affairs on her and it was such a public humiliation at the time akin to JA’s one of many.
Brad looks wonderful.. He should not look like he did in his 20’s he is a man now. With a Mans face and a Man’s life…
There are a lot of things that can be said of Brad Pitt.. calling this man ugly is not one of them. Saying you don’t find him attractive is fine with me.. Saying you don’t like his movies/acting.. I’ll give you your due.. Hating the way he dresses.. OK..
But please don’t be stupid and childish. Don’t say he is ugly.. Brad could not be ugly if he tried. He was a good looking man 20 years ago, 15 years ago, 10 years ago, 5 years ago… yesterday, today and tomorrow..
Take your shots.. but don’t lie.
LOL. My bad. I just clicked on Gerard NO-Way-in-Hell-am-I-dating-fillerface-I’d-rather-marry-any-Indian-girl Butler is a bounty hunter thread.
.
Now, I don’t mind GB as just another celebrity and all. But as far as fine male specimen goes, GB is looking somewhat tubby isn’t he. I swear that he’s sporting a little beer gut or pot belly.
.
But never mind. I think the making of this movie is gonna be fun fun fun. Imagine all the reports about GB and Fillerface getting it on or off. YAHAHAHAHAH. Can he resist the publicity and the machinations of FF and Huvane? You know, FF and Huvance really really want to repeat TBU’s relationship with Vince. I’m sure of that. Will Gerard cave in and start “dating” Fillerface?
.
I love Switzerland. I love Brad.
Lastly, I read Jon Voight’s rant. sighhh…
.
Let’s just say, I’m sooooo glad that Angelina and James will let JV into their outer circle only. Jon Voight is a toxic parent.
Angie and James have a nerve looking down their noses at their father. Jon Voight has the patience of a saint with those two.

I hope GB doesn’t cave in. Being the first at the stunt like V V is OK, but the 4th or 5th? He’ll be the laugh of HW and of all the people that are not jenhens. I don’t think he is that desperate, but again I don’t know.
seahorse, seahorse. . .
If your parents didn’t have the patience, you’de be dead by now.
Some of these comments are so mean. Brad and Angelina are a couple with six children–don’t they deserve “God bless you and keep you all happy and safe”–I guess I just don’t understand why some people have such negative views of this couple who are doing a lot of good things in the world. Perhaps this kind of negativity is what prevents more people from helping.
@Gambit: You are on the wrong thread.

And poor Gerard Butler will be bombarded with Aniston’s idea of “subtle” cross examination about every tiny thing Gerard knows about Angelina. Stalker.
.
+++++++++++++++
.
I don’t feel sorry for him at all. He knew what he was getting into when he signed the contract. After all, before they even met to discuss the project X and Huvane had already done their best to spin their 2-minute meeting at 2008 TIFF into the romance of the century…well, romance of the century, part 2…cuz hens thinks “The Golden Couple” was the original romance of the century…
Brad looks hot as usual. Don’t care what any-one says or how many lame photos are posted(WTF)Brad is now 45 not 20, morons!!!!
All the best to Brad & Angie & the 6 kids.God bless them.
Megan Fox has an identity crisis.

Well..,.SOMEBODY’S gotta do it! Might as well be me…
LOL so much for his 3-day rule. DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYEM, how many places has he been just in the last few weeks. I’m thinking it’s er turn with the kids so he’s off doing his own thing. Look for more of this.
@Seahorse:
Voight left his wife and his kids when they were little. Angie and James have the patience of saints to try to ignore that early pain their father caused them.
