#96 haha: Interesting new interview. The timing is exquisite. There is a poster in either this thread or the Ferragamo one, who speculated that there were attempts to clean up G’s manwhore image. Looks like they were right. It remains to be seen if the cleanup is successful.He will have to seriously cut back on his partying and clubbing. Or atleast ensure TMZ and the paps aren’t around.
The Aniston nonsense had to be addressed. We all KNOW what what was coming.But it remains to be seen if he can be “reined in”.

Not to be a butthead and please by all means bash me….but gotta ask…. why do you keep bringing up Kristi…..there was no relationship…. a few dates doesnt constitute a relationship! This is how cr^p gets started and is fueled. It is bad enough Gerry is doing what he is without adding to it with assumptions and wishful thinking. Same with Josie. There is another poster who also is pushin that Kristi be going out with Gerry. Funny there are no others who seem to think that….

This guy seems to say whatever is on his mind or suits him for the time being.Not sure if it is PR or himself.

He is not there yet, but if he gets his “act ” straight he might get there in the end.

Sugar are you fixated on Kristi or know something we dont as you seem convinced they were more than what people seem to think?. Bianca was more of a girlfriend than many of the others. He seemed happy enough to be seen out with her and probably felt it was nobody’s business to have to acknowledge her as a girlfriend. He defintely had a GF in New York last year(Jasmine??) as there was that guy who blogged about the Kareoke nights at Cipriani Upstairs and when asked why he had not come one Sunday Gerry said he was not allowed and joked something to the effect of “honey can I go out to sing with my mates and some hot models”. It was probably well known within certain circles who he was dating.

IMO unless he is really serious about someone he will not be seen at public events with them. I do believe he probably has alot of on set flings that end when filming stops and has women all over the world where he goes that quite happily know they are not exclusive but hey there is nothing like great sex without the emotional attachment. Whether we like or dislike what we hear , know personally or have witnessed I bet Gerry is very open about what he wants from these women and nobody is forcing them to get involved with him. I do think it would be easy to fall hard and not mean to so expect there are a few who maybe hope for more and are left dissapointed.

Alot have often wondered why nobody has come out of the woodwork and done a serious expose on him and I can’t see all his flings, conquests, serious gfs etc staying friends so that will remain a mystery as surely there is somebody there wanting their 15 mins of fame. Could it be that alot of what we see on TMZ etc is a big show for the cameras and he is not the complete manwhore most seem to think these days??

I’m not surprised at all that he said that he has a girlfriend. Although, the way that article is written, it is difficult to tell whether he is talking about past or present. What a great sentance to have a typo in! LMAO.
I have suspected all along that he is with someone and that a lot of this stuff about him is bullshit.
There was also a blog that came out of India that stated that he did have a girlfriend meet him while he was there. He was there for almost a month so there was obviously time for someone to come and visit after his friends left. Now the question is, who is it and why does he keep her hidden? That is what is so bizzare.

When you look at the actual footage of TMZ most of the videos are much ado about nothing. What we see on camera is nothing but a show as he knows where the pap hotspots are. That doesn’t necessarily mean he’s not manwhoring but if he does it’s not on camera. The only time he was really comprimised was at the pier and that might have been a show as well.

When you look at the bashing that has happened whenever someone came forward with a personal story about him, you’re not surprised that his flings prefer to keep quiet. Besides, who would want to share the humiliation of having been dumped with the whole world?

The only reason TMZ likes him is because they can make a catchy promo jingle about him.

It was right after Phantom is when he got the taste of the high publicity life and has never been able to top it and that is why he’s so bitter about his career.

#112: I doubt he has a steady girlfriend. Although the Times of India seemed to cover his whole trip with tons of articles, we only read in one obscure blog about this alleged girlfriend and they even believed her to be Cheryl Burke. If you go as far as believing blogs, you’d also have to believe that stuff coming out of Philly that clearly indicated he was dating around there. And he still goes clubbing all the time with various people. Why would a steady girlfriend sit at home while he’s out and about? I think the situation last year was different, he seemed to have some kind of relationship with Jasmine and while he was in NY then you didn’t constantly see him clubbing. But since they apparently broke up after the Arcade thing, he hasn’t been under the radar for any length of time. My take is he probably has flings and one-night-stands going on, but nothing steady or serious.

#117: That’s the point. If he had a girlfriend I would consider it a huge lack of respect to keep her hidden now that these rumors have gone so far. Privacy is one thing, but he’s really not such a big star that his girlfriend would be haunted by the paps 24/7. Whenever you see pictures of him it seems he’s actually looking for the paps, appearing at places he knows they’ll be. I’m sure he could live pretty much under the radar with a woman even if he acknowleged her. But walking the red carpet pretending to be single if he’s not is just ridiculous. Look at all the other stars, is anyone hiding a girlfriend? Just look at George Clooney and his latest girl. He really has the paps on his heels yet he doesn’t hide her like she didn’t exist.

The long time relationship LIE is probably the opening salvo in the much needed REDEMPTION TOUR for the publicity crippled and personally bankrupt Gerard Butler…. don’t just swallow everything he puts out there people - be smart. What could be more expedient for him to attempt redemption by a blanket “do over” ploy like - oh all that bad stuff was not me - I’m really in a respectable long term relationship - so give me a huge pass please….
If this is an example of a new PR approach - it’s so lame.
