Gerard Butler is a Bounty Hunter
Gerard Butler walks to the set of his new action movie, Bounty Hunter, in New York City on Tuesday afternoon (June 9).
The 39-year-old Scottish stud and Jennifer Aniston are headlining the flick about a bounty hunter (Butler) hired to retrieve his ex-wife (Aniston), who has skipped bail.
Directing is Andy Tennant, who directed Reese Witherspoon in Sweet Home Alabama, Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson in Fool’s Gold and Will Smith and Eva Mendes in Hitch.

Wow, his PR team is busier than a cat covering up sh*t on a sidewalk. I guess if he was in secret long-term relationships, he really was keeping someone in the basement of the lair LOL. What woman in her right mind would put up with being kept secret - if she really loved him she would want to be at his side and d*mn the publicity. One more thing - this may come down to his definition of long-term - anything over 36 hours perhaps? I’m so not buying what he’s selling.
Again, thanks so much JJ for your Butler coverage!!!!!! I think he looks absolutely handsome in these pics!!!! He has a head of hair that is to be envied!!!!! It’s funny why so many non-GB lovers actually type in his name or click on it to get here…and diss him. I could go to other celebs on JJ and disrespect them ,too: for example, a certain very visible actor who has three children out-of-wedlock and is still considered hot for some reason, looks like a twin of Bill Macy. Do you know whom I mean? Or I could go to the celeb who is even older than the Macy clone and make comments about his greasy, middle-parted hair..fu manchu mustache, at times, and his Gypsy looks and scrawny exppatriate body. Do you know whom I mean? Or I could go to the celeb whose in a recent lame movie who has kinky hair, tiny deep-set eyes, and heavy Neanderthal eyebrows and thinks he’s funny, but can only give us lame comedices, usally about sports? Do you know of whom I mean? But I dont’t get off wasting my time going to places just to make fun of others’ like for a celeb. Why would I bother? I’d prefer to go on and on about a certain handsome, talented, bright, irreverent star like Gerard..and priase him to the proverbial hilt!!!
I love all types of film genres: I like romantic comedies, action films, and dramas,etc. However, I am in a minority when I say that I loathe the superhero movies..all of them!!!! I don’t go to sites to throw my opinion to the wolves.
I reiterate when i say <”Thanks, Jared.” Everytime you show me a new Butler photo or news item, I am so thrilled!!! I cannot wait for tor THE ROMANTIC COMEDY of the year, “The Ugly Truth”…for its humor, raunchiness,and Butler! And “Gamer”? I cannot wait for that either! LAC? Yay! I’m even excited about “HTTYD” to hear GB’s voice as Stoick the Vast! And…although I’mnot a JA fan, seeing GB above, makes me ache to see this one ,too!! I think he is darling!
If you go to Daniel Craig’s site, you will find that his girlfriend encounters the most relentless vicious attacks. Maybe G doesn’t want that happen to his g/f , if any. With all his flaws he seems to be a decent guy.
It’s all about his public persona. He wont be seen with anyone so that he continues to have his adoring fans. Hence he goes to red carpet events and events where he knows the paps will be alone. It is just remarkable that he finds women/a woman who will put up with it. Talk about lack of respect! I think it has everythign to do with himself and self promotion.
#128: If he was decent he wouldn’t deny his girlfriend if he has any. Any actor’s girlfriend/wife is attacked by jealous fans on certain sites, sad as it is, but you could just ignore it and not read this ****. I bet neither Craig nor his girlfriend care about it and instead enjoy their relationship not having to worry if they might be seen by paps or her staying at home while Craig’s going out alone. To me, he is actually a gentleman committing to his girlfriend and showing the public that SHE is the one at his side, not caring about image or losing fangurls.
Seriously, after reading this article, my opinion of him has dropped drastically. I personally prefer to think of him as a manwhore who likes to go out and have fun, than someone who is actually dating someone and not acknowledging them to the public.

HILARIOUS!!! Just what I was thinking when I saw the item that he even talked to that dippy girl. Only thing Kelly Bensimon has going for her is her body and her hair, and if he wanted to tap that for a night, I can’t really blame him. Can’t see him sticking around to hear her manic self-absorbed conversation over breakfast, though.
I see nothing wrong with a guy who is not in love with someone playing the field. He still is hot — he just wore an ill-fitting shirt. If he had on a decent shirt, you would all be swooning. His jeans look great on him.
For those of you wondering what he’s done since 300 besides a rom com or two, check out Rock N Rolla, the movie that Guy Ritchie directed. It’s a great movie, and Gerard is fantastic in it. You might want to put subtitles on, though, because they talk fast in thick accents. It has Tom Wilkinson, also. Good action, humor, vintage Guy Ritchie.

I completely agree with you. Clearly Gerry does not have the same confidence in himself that Daniel Craig has - that is quite obvious on many levels. Hiding whomever he is dating from the public eye (which he has now admitted to) is just one example of his major self esteem issues.

@ick is what it is: Could it be that he has more of a problem with being A FALSE PERSON….than self esteem?
If you impute self esteem he seems somewhat a victim of some kind.
If you see him as a guy that manipulates and uses women and then won’t be seen with them - I see that as FALSE - not self-esteem issue.

hummmm I read that article and from what I’ve read..it seems to me that he is referring to relationships he’s had in the PAST…”I’ve managed”…however, the wording of that article is abit off…I believe that he had relationships yes, but keeping them is quite another story. Having his kind of lifestyle and seeing women globally from all over…I can see it’s tempting for any man to sample the waters especially since he is single.
To live in a mircoscope though and have strangers pick on “what you should be doing” and what morales you should obtain….I wouldn’t want that.
A steady, publicly acknowledged girlfriend, would put a serious crimp in his clubbing, partying, and herding.
Didn’t he just give a recent interview about his character inTUT being exactly like him? Now ,suddenly ,he’s digusted by him. So which is it?
I do not believe he was talking about a current long term relationship but more ones he has had in the past. I don’t think he is hiding anyone just now - maybe back then yes.
#141: What actually puzzled me the most was the term “decent” relationships. I dunno, but to me this sort of sounded like his “kind of date” last year. Non-committal/exclusive or in other words, FWB. Somehow he just doesn’t strike me as the faithful type. I think the word “monogamy” just doesn’t exist in his dictionary.

I think he probably hides his girlfriends because he doesn’t usually date celebrities. He is probably protecting them from the paps and being criticised. When he was dating Rosario Dawson there were pictures of them in public together.

Yes, it’s ramping up but even when 300 was a hit he still wasn’t overly known, so it was possible for him to have relationships without anyone knowing not because he was hiding it but because no one was looking.

He’s always been “secretive” about his relationships, even way before 300. He never dated anyone openly. I remember several interviews I believe around the time he was doing TR2, in the first one he said he had a girlfriend but kept her out of the public (mind you, he was a total nobody back then) and in another one some months later he said he’d just broken up. And that’s how it’s been going all the time. Once in a while when he was specifically asked he said there was someone (that nobody ever saw) and as soon as the next movie premiere was ahead he had conveniently just broken up.

If you think he is hiding women/woman for their sake, you are as stupid as they are. It is for purely selfish reasons that he does what he does. Seriously, the more I learn about this guy the more I am convinced he is a complete douche bag!!
seriously, who are these stupid women that he is with? He goes to all of these great parties and events all the time and doesn’t bring them? Seriously, WTF. They must be home making snacks for him for when he gets in at 4am and has the late night munchies.
