I disagree. There are PLENTY of more famous celebs out there than Jen G. and we never see their kids b/c the know how to guard them for e.g. Julia Roberts (e.g. leave the kid at home with the nanny if you’re going to the store, especially since you know there’s going to be paps). Her publicist folks have tried to create this image of her being the “normal” mom and therefore she knows taking her daughter around everywhere KNOWING that the paps are there, will keep her in the news. She and Katie H. seem like they married big movie stars and both seem a bit like lonely housewives. Really. I would love to see them do something outside their husband’s shadows.

I think Katie Holmes has done a few things outside her husbands shadow. Last year she was in a very successful Broadway show she has the Exra Man movie coming out and now she is going to Australia to film Don’t be afraid of the Dark.

Who cares about Julia Roberts anymore? Maybe she’s more ‘famous’ than Jen G but people don’t care about her personal life or her kids (maybe because she married down to a camera operator). People can be more famous actors, but people care about JenG’s children and personal life more that’s why the sites pay big bucks for their pictures. Hey, if you werent interested in her personal life yourself Kelly, why did you click on to this post?

Elle, I think you’ve been googling and reading way too much about Jennifer garner. Why don’t you get yourself a hobby that doesnt require you reading up on and obsessing about someone you purport to dislike? It would be so much healthier for your well being. Actually, I’m a fan so that is normal for me to do so, and what Kevin Smith said was that Ben got her pregnant on purpose to “seal the deal” before they wed. It was something he wanted all along (see Details Magazine November 2004 ~7 months BEFORE they wed he talked about wanting that as well as a family)

I’m all for free speech but there are limits like pornography - they limit that when it has to do with taking pictures of minors, so they should forbid taking pictures of minors who are out in public without parents consent….

@Elle: I agree, there are so many celebrities that have young kids who go to school and you dont see their school photos everywhere, all the time……….Jennifer Garner, Brangelina, etc. are celebrities who seem to love the spotlight, but complain at the same time…….. I feel sorry for the kids like Violet being exposed in that way but really it’s the parents fault!!!!

Jennifer Garner is NOT an A list actress. She’s a B list actress with A list name recognition because she married Ben Affleck after the disaster that became Bennifer I. Jennifer uses her children to position herself in the magazines, otherwise why would she continue to expose the kids like she does? She’s been in the business long enough to know that celebrity kids are targets for the paps, yet she continues to run around with the kids as if she’s unaware of this fact. There are plenty of much better actress with children who keep their children’s lives much more protected and it just seems as if Jennifer is whoring her kids for publicity. Rarely do you see Paltrow’s kids, or Winslet’s kids. Jennifer Garner is not a “normal” person, she’s an actress and unfortunately your personal life becomes very public, it’s the price you pay, and every actor/actress knows it. She should be protecting her kids, not exposing them. I find it ironic that Jennifer is always smiling when being photographed with Violet or anybody else for that matter, but never when she’s with Ben.

You are taking what I’ve written out of content to serve your own purpose, dismissing most of what I’ve written, narrowing it down to a single point instead of looking at it as a whole. I’m not trying to “be mean”. I am stating what is clear. Jennifer Garner is not a “normal” person, she knows this, and as much as it may be unfair, even dangerous for paps to stalk and target celebrity kids, that is the way it is and she is very well aware of this. She should be protecting her kids from that as much as she can. Instead she parades them around doing “normal” things when she knows there will be camera’s following them everywhere. Her children are still very young. At that age kids aren’t complaining about staying home. You say people don’t care about Paltrow’s of Winslet’s Kids. Well, even J.Lo, whom I can’t stand, even manages to keep her kids out of the public view, and while I may not like her, there are many who do. MANY celebrity moms keep their children’s lives away from the camera’s for the most part. Jennifer Garner is NOT one of those moms.
