Allison Iraheta Scores Record Deal
Allison Iraheta, who placed fourth in the latest edition of American Idol, has also signed with 19 Recordings. (Earlier this week, Kris Allen and Adam Lambert all signed their record deals with 19.)
“I think I’m still in shock that this is happening — getting to record my first album and this whole awesome experience is a dream come true!” Allison, 17, said in a statement released to EW.

Nah. Never was a fan.
Definitely Not. I can’t stand her voice, I don’t think she can sing at all. I can make the same “raspy low voice” that she does. I just don’t get why people liked her so much. Every song she sang sounded the same, just with different lyrics. The only song I liked was “alone”.

Absolutely will buy her record. If I had the power to choose, it would have been Adam the winner, then Allison, then Danny, followed by Matt and then Kris. She has a unique and distinictive sound. Her potential is huge.

I’d absolutely buy it. Her “Cry Baby” performance and “Slow Ride” duet were the highlight of the season, in my opinion. She should have came in second to Adam, but unfortunately Idol is about teeny-bopping bloc voters more than talent.
