I agree and totally understand where you are coming from. I did notice in one of the articles you posted that it stated “the entrepreneur’s husband, ABC sportscaster Frank Gifford, responded by rushing to the sweatshop with envelopes of $300 in cash for the mistreated workers.” I thought…like it was going to reach its intended targets especially in a known corrupt infrastructure. It’s all about public/media salvation, public image acrobatics, guilt money and/or saving their own souls being caught as “un-Christian”.

I was thinking the other day that it’s a WalMart “thing”…in order to sell the goods, they have to import from places like China and now Mexico where Mexico has lowered the bar and even undercut China’s wages to compete with them. The other thought was that Jacyln Smith has a line of clothing at WalMart but there has never been media hype about where her products come from and btw where are her clothes line and bed products made? I have no idea. Out of curiosity, I may have to go to WalMart and look at her labels.

Wal-mart is well known for selling cheap. Many of their products are made overseas so as not to violate US labor laws. However they have been busted a few times for their illegal and strong arm tactics.

Who knows - maybe little Maddox or Pax glimpsed some tabloid manure and asked a few pertinent questions at the dinner table. To allay their concerns, the couple decide to marry.

Haters are so fond of pointing out that they aren’t married (as if that means anything). Wouldn’t be hysterical if the haters’ “bible” - the tabloids - caused Brad and Angie to tie the knot?
