OlderMegan Fox: I’m No Jennifer Aniston
Megan Fox is still adjusting to all of the attention she’s been receiving since Transformers. Here’s what she opened up to Entertainment Tonight about:
On her newfound fame: “I definitely feel ill-prepared. I mean, I don’t know if anyone ever sits back and goes, ‘Now is the moment that I think I should be a famous celebrity.’ I know I’m struggling with trying to figure out how to how to live in it — but I definitely feel it’s premature. I mean, I was in one movie that people have seen.”
On keeping herself grounded: “I see some people who have to deal with it on an everyday basis — I am not a Jennifer Aniston or a Britney Spears or even a Lindsay Lohan, you know? My pictures don’t sell for that kind of money. But [of] the small level that I do deal with it, it is hard and there have been times [when] people don’t want to hang out with me because they don’t want to end up on the Internet. I sometimes just turn around and go back home and don’t do anything and have to have someone go do my grocery shopping.”
On establishing herself in Hollywood: “I need to behave in a way and handle myself in a way that will cause people to take me seriously. You can be sexy and be intelligent and be taken seriously, or you can be sexy and you can be out at clubs every night and not be [taken seriously]. I haven’t gone completely insane — but it might happen soon.”

i think that she speaks her mind and there is nothing wrong with that any other person in the world would do it and no one would say anything she is actually really smart! I like her Go Megan!
good interview. read it all except for a line or two (busy) and she didn’t sh*t on anyone. good for her. she is smart. i mean she uses metaphors and allegories and all that. she has a way to go, and she can do it…if she stays humble and maybe works hard on her acting (she really needs that). goodluck megan.
maybe she noticed people aren’t buying her obviously fake “i’m wild and edgy” act so she will shift to “i am intelligent and i want to be taken seriously” which isn’t working either.
Didn’t she say ScarJo is trying so hard to be intelligent so men would take her seriously? Well, it’s her who is trying to be intelligent so people would take her seriously. lol.

So she bashes Scarlett Johansson for being intelligent and using every SAT word possible to make people take her seriously and says she doesn’t want to be that kind of actress, BUT NOW she’s totally contradicts herself by saying she does want people to take her seriously! I’m NOT hater but I wish she would shutup some times! She’s not smart and says alot of bullsh**t for publicity!

People just didn’t understand what she was saying about Scarlett. She was saying that when you’re pretty people EXPECT you to prove that you are smart. Apparently what she’d heard Scarlett say in interviews sounded like she was trying to PROVE she’s smart. She doesn’t think that pretty women should have to PROVE they’re smart. Which is right, but society has a weird view of good looking women in general, like you can’t be smart AND pretty. She wasn’t saying Scarlett isn’t smart, just that Megan feels there is pressure on pretty actresses to PROVE it. I don’t think that’s news. Even actress of old had that problem. Jane Mansfield was extremely intelligent, but people only wanted to see her playing dumb blond roles. No one would take her seriously when she wanted to do ventures outside of acting.

This is a made up story. Hollywood is trying hard to make this girl a star by constantly comparing her to Ms. Jolie. I challenged JustJared to do a true side by side of Ms. Jolie and this girl. When I mean a true side by side, I mean true height. Ms. Jolie is 5″8 and that little girl is about 5″4. Megan Fox can not act. This is a insult comparison to Ms. Jolie. Please JustJared for me, show a true red carpet photo to squash this story about how she’s the next Ms. Jolie. Ms. Jolie towers over this wanna be fake ass girl.

I will be the first to say that Megan is not that great of an actress, but in her interviews when you actually hear her speak you fully understand what she says. JJ seems to take every freaking quote from most of her interviews and all you dipsh*t take what she says out of context and then claim she is seeking attention. Wtf ever..I think she is a pretty cool chick and I am a girl.
