OlderCher’s Daughter Undergoing Gender Reassignment Process
Chastity Bono, daughter of Cher and the late Sonny Bono, is in the process of transitioning from a female to a male.
“Yes, it’s true — Chaz, after many years of consideration, has made the courageous decision to honor his true identity,” publicist Howard Bragman told TMZ of the gender reassignment surgery. “He is proud of his decision and grateful for the support and respect that has already been shown by his loved ones. It is Chaz’s hope that his choice to transition will open the hearts and minds of the public regarding this issue, just as his ‘coming out’ did nearly 20 years ago. We ask that the media respect Chaz’s privacy during this long process as he will not be doing any interviews at this time.”
Chastity started the process sometime in March following his 40th birthday.

I know this will sound closed minded but I don’t care. I understand the gay thing but I really don’t get the whole sex change thing. Something is really wrong with people if they want to cut off their ***** or create a *****. I mean, why? Why can’t she just be a lesbian? I feel really bad for Cher and I’m sure Sonny wouldn’t even want to be around for this. Cher’s son is gay as well? Is that true?
