OlderCher’s Daughter Undergoing Gender Reassignment Process
Chastity Bono, daughter of Cher and the late Sonny Bono, is in the process of transitioning from a female to a male.
“Yes, it’s true — Chaz, after many years of consideration, has made the courageous decision to honor his true identity,” publicist Howard Bragman told TMZ of the gender reassignment surgery. “He is proud of his decision and grateful for the support and respect that has already been shown by his loved ones. It is Chaz’s hope that his choice to transition will open the hearts and minds of the public regarding this issue, just as his ‘coming out’ did nearly 20 years ago. We ask that the media respect Chaz’s privacy during this long process as he will not be doing any interviews at this time.”
Chastity started the process sometime in March following his 40th birthday.

As I understand it Chaz feels she/he isn’t gay but just the wrong gender.

You go on a date nowadays and you literallly have to have a damn DNA test. You change your sexuality they change the birth certificate.
This is what troubles me about the gay community. If you are a woman and like women why dress and act like a man. If you are a man and like men why dress in drag and act feminine. Hypocrital lfestyle. This is why some people have a hard time embracing homosexuality. It seems more of a lifestyle choice than something you are born into. Makes no sense.
Sad thing is…I seriously doubt this gender assignment surgery will change her love life. If she lost about 200 pounds there may be hope.

Pardon my ignorance, but what exactly does gender reassignment mean? Is she going to have her breasts removed and a ***** graphed on or will she just identify as male?

A psychiatrist evaluates the patient. If appropriate, the doctor prescribes male hormones. The hormones change the body makeup, which includes hair growth. The clitoris also grows larger. You start to look more like a man.
hen there is removal of b*reasts. most states will recognize the person as a male once this occurs. A hysterectomy can also be performed during this process.
This process can take several years, while the patient is taking hormones. Most people stop at this point.
if the patient goes forward, the surgeon often makes a small male member . I’ll spare you the details of THAT surgery. This information was found elsewhere on the internet.
