OlderCher’s Daughter Undergoing Gender Reassignment Process
Chastity Bono, daughter of Cher and the late Sonny Bono, is in the process of transitioning from a female to a male.
“Yes, it’s true — Chaz, after many years of consideration, has made the courageous decision to honor his true identity,” publicist Howard Bragman told TMZ of the gender reassignment surgery. “He is proud of his decision and grateful for the support and respect that has already been shown by his loved ones. It is Chaz’s hope that his choice to transition will open the hearts and minds of the public regarding this issue, just as his ‘coming out’ did nearly 20 years ago. We ask that the media respect Chaz’s privacy during this long process as he will not be doing any interviews at this time.”
Chastity started the process sometime in March following his 40th birthday.

OMG I am reading so many retarded comments I cannot even start to reply to all of them. America is full of double moralists and ignorants! Cher’s son isn’t gay. He was on the Howard Stern show in 2006 where he mentioned he slept with Paris Hilton and dated Nicole Richie.
As for Chaz, I wish him the best of luck in the future. None of you have spent a day in his shoes, so who are you to judge?
