You can think whatever you want. You can consider it wrong, but you cannot be OFFENSIVE, which is what most of people it is. You might consider it unnatural, but it’s not a sickness, is a mental condition and it is there since birth! It was probably not her choice. What I don’t understand is why you people cannot understand that those things are not chosen, they just happen. I don’t think I’m open-minded and “cool”, I’m just trying to be emphatic. To be born in a body that doesn’t feel like yours… shouldn’t be cool. Why can’t she go for her happiness? Maybe she’s doing the worst mistake of her live but who are we to judge? You go for your happiness the way you want it, following your faith or whatever you do, she does it the way she wants it. And still, she’s not hurting anyone!!!!!!

And I don’t think I’m twist-minded and perverted, but if being tolerant is that, then I guess I am!!!!!!

I saw HER on that weight loss program (sorry, can’t remember the name) and she was the sweetest. Seemed more like she had self-esteem issues and being over-weight can give one a bad self image.

I really liked her, but if she doesn’t like herself, I don’t think changing her gender is going to help that much.

Having said that, I think most of us are at a loss on this subject. It just keeps getting more twisted.

I refuse to go along with this little pretend game, gays have going. That gay is NORMAL. Congratulating Wanda Sykes and her “wife” giving birth to “their” children. Calling Chasity Bono, him. I refuse, our kids will grow up so confused! what is the purpose of all this, to totally destroy the moral fabric of this nation? Is it an attack on God and religion, so they can “sue” our churches. I’m not sure where all this behavior is headed but I sure know its not good.

Who are you to judge the life she wants to live? People make their OWN decisions. If she wants to be changed into a he then allow her to do it. Don’t make rude comments about how it’s sick and what not. It’s natural for a woman to feel out of place in her own body. Sometimes it seems we were suppose to be born in a different body. And don’t go saying “If God wanted her a man then he would have built her that way.” Well apparently he did, look at her. She does look manly, but she is still beautiful or handsome however you want to put it. Every human in this world is beautiful. Have any of you not learned anything from being in alive these days? At least she isn’t insecure to say she wants a sex change or she is gay. I think most of you commenting here is only saying these harsh things because your insecure yourself, so you have to down on everyone else just to make you feel better. I give her props on wanting to do this. It takes courage. Can’t wait to see the new Chaz :] Hope all goes well. Don’t let others bring you down.

I will never understand the attraction of same sex partners, however, I do believe that people can (and are) born with genes or hormones inside that may not be reflective of outside appearance. Since I am not professionally versed in this, I will just say that things can go wrong.
Look at the thousands of birth defects that we have every day. Look at the millions of children born with mental or physical disabilities. Look at the complexities of the body in that if ONE little thing goes wrong in the very complicated human computer in the body, it can throw off everything else —physically and emotionally.
I believe that in the majority of cases, homosexuals are born, not made, however, there are some who ‘choose’ to live that life style. Are gays mistakes? In MY OPINION, G-d made man and woman to be together, not woman and woman or man and man. However, with that said, I also believe that very odd things can happen with genes and hormones in the conception process and that some people may not be on the inside what they appear to be on the outside. Perhaps that is the case for Chastity.

Good for her to come out in these days with such harsh people for a gender change. Good for you Chaz. Be happy..

Good Luck Chaz. Good Lord, by now you, your brother and your Mom know to tune this crap out, I hope. Surgeries at 40 can be rough, take care of yourself, I’ll pray that things go well for you and your family.
