Jude Law is a Hamlet Hunk
Jude Law leaves Wyndham’s Theatre after performing Hamlet in London on Wednesday (June 10).
The 36-year-old English actor will perform the famous tragedy by William Shakespeare until August 22. Since the opening of the play, Jude has received mostly praises for his performance as the mentally anguished Hamlet.
Matt Wolf of the New York Times lauded his performance as being “fierce-eyed, charistmatic” and “gestural.”
Variety’s David Benedict said, “The revelation of Law’s performance is the dynamic connection between mind and expressive body.”
Christopher Hart of the London Times was mostly reserved in his praise for Jude but added, “Law’s delivery is excellently crisp and clear, full of sibilant articulacy.”

Jude, Jude, Jude - you dazzle me and enchant me and give me thought for brazen fantasies and also thought for serious matters in the world today. You are a complete person with all sorts of interests and desires but mostly you always wanted to be an actor and right now you are at the pinnacle of your career. The reviewers for this milestone of a role for a male actor have succumbed to your manifestation in HAMLET and I can hardly wait until the end of July when I will fly over and be thoroughly enchanted watching something I am sure I will never forget.

@ #4 Correction: He’s looking HOTT. OK, a little scruffy. Wouldn’t look out of place with a paper bag covered bottle in his hand. But, still the definition of HOT in my book. Jude - and only Jude - can pull that off! I can’t get over in nearly every picture of him leaving the theatre, he’s surrounded by people staring at him. I’ll bet he’s knackered (as they say in UK) and just wants to go somewhere to unwind with a drink. Home, for example.

I do wish so much I could see this play. So much wonderful feedback about it and about Jude’s performance in the play as well as how sweet he is when meeting everyone at the stage door. Classy gentleman.
