Kristen Stewart is Mullet Marvelous
Kristen Stewart shows off her new mullet as she heads to a studio in Los Angeles on Thursday (June 11).
The 19-year-old actress had cut her hair for her role as rocker Joan Jett in the new movie The Runaways. Kristen and Dakota Fanning star together in this film and the Twilight sequel, New Moon. The new BFFs were even spotted partying together at the Nylon Summer Music Tour!

Well, I feel for her, I really do. She probably had a nervous breakdown after she cut her hair off. I know I did when my mom had my haircut into a mullet back in the day.
I bet when she is done filming she will get it fixed. You know lightened up and cut better.
She looks like she got her hair done by Tegan & Sara’s stylist.
Fantastic - she actually looks amazingly like Joan Jett circa 1975 (the Runaways broke up in 1979, so, no, they are not going for an 80s look but rather a late 70s glam rocker look). With a beautiful face like that, she can pull off any hair, and this is just so rock and roll!
The Runaways were a band from the mid-70s (not the 80s).
Joan Jett had a worse mullet, so Kristin got off easy. Actors always change themselves for roles. She can’t be Bella Swan forever! :)
Jared, thanks for not being like Bauer-Griffin, who post pictures to the address, building, and Kristen’s car’s license plate. They are really jerks who do not care about actors’ safety.

but you know i think she had exstentions in. Plus she got her hair cutt and died. but for the Eclispe movie sake, i think that it will grow back a little. diff people have diff hair so she could have fast growing hair or slow growing hair, either way she will get extentions cause if she doesnt it wont look good. but anyways. hahahaa..it makes her look like a rocker/80’s person. but thats the point ahha.

but with her 80’s hair , she so can pull that off….I hope she can act Bad ASS…. love her look
I hate joan for having chosen such a sh=t hairstyle, kristen you deserve an oscar like chalize did for goung all out for your role, does anyone remember rob in how to be, that hairstyle was terrible!

Make sure you add lipstick whenever you are out, because as much as you rock any hairstyle or color, this one makes you pale, so make sure to add some color to your face, Anyway has anyone seen robs pictures close up lately, this guy is ssoooooo ugly, mike is way better, what were you thinking kristen?
She’s beautiful. Obviously, this isn’t the most flattering haircut… but she can still pull it off. I can’t wait to see The Runaways! Kristen is going to make an amazing Joan Jett!
Is this really a mullet? I thought it looks more like a shag? For those wondering about her Bella hair. I believe they used a partial wig for her in Twilight. They may have done the same in New Moon? If so, then KS has been using a wig all along and cutting her hair now won’t really matter for Eclipse.
Overall I’m not too crazy about KS personal style, but at least she doesn’t look too much like a ho… like so many Hollywood girls do. So it’s cool. Can’t wait to see Joan Jett! Hope it’s good.
@ Leah - Kristen is not as shallow as you apparently are. C’mon - having a “nervous breakdown” because of a haircut?! I bet most of the actresses in Hollywood probably would react so pathetically - but that’s one of the many differences between them and actresses like Kristen, Natalie Portman, Charlize Theron, Cate Blanchett. They don’t automatically go for the easy option - i.e. using a wig. When they take on a role - they take on all the requirements of the role too. IT’S JUST HAIR and fortunetly for Kristen, she has a beautiful face with a lot of character in it and a lot more talent than some actresses twice as old and more experienced than she is. She has that whole tomboyish grunge thing going on and i really think she’ll pull off the role convincingly. I have a lot of faith in her and although i’m generally quite cynical of actors who talk about being uncomfortable in the public eye and only interested in getting better at acting - i think she’s for real. So good for Kristen and i am sure she will be able to have a successful career which combines both T
