My Name Is Earl — CANCELED!

My Name Is Earl has officially been canceled but will continue to run on TBS beginning in the fall.

Greg Garcia’s brilliant My Name Is Earl kept America laughing for the past four seasons and certainly deserved to continue for many more,” 20th Century Fox TV said in a statement Thursday. “While we had hoped to find a way to produce additional episodes for TBS, in the final analysis we simply could not make the economics work without seriously undermining the artistic integrity of the series. As none of us, Greg included, want the show to go out on anything but a high note, we regret that we must put to rest any speculation that Earl will continue. We are grateful to everyone at TBS for their enthusiasm for the series and wish to offer our heartfelt thanks to the cast and crew of My Name Is Earl for their incredible work.”

Good, the less shows that have Scientologists acting in them the better.

wow, did not even know it was still on.

Has the recession finally affected the $cienos? Can’t they afford to throw money at something any longer, just to keep a few of its mediocre members of the crazy cult gainfully employed?

I’m sad for Jamie Pressly though.

I would never watch it because that idiot is a Scientologist.

(Jason Lee)

wow.. i thought that show got canceled along time ago. hahahaha.. i didn’t even know it was still on.

I’m really sad to see the show over. It was great! Nothing else like it on TV. I wonder about the NBC execs sometime.

i can’t believe it lasted that long
it was sooo stupid

I drove Jason Lee to the S.A.G. awards in a limo when he starred in “Almost Famous”. He is a titanic pre-madona, complained about microscopic glitter on the seat of the limo (would have clashed with his rediculous Gouldens mustard colored shirt and pants) and left the show early when he didn’t win an award. No tip, no thank you, no see ya later he’s a J.O. I hope hey stays enemployed, no talent hack!

Aww I loved that show. I was not even able to watch the final episode. :( Was it good, you guys?

i thought it was a really good show, very new concept and funny talented characters.

shame it had to end, but ill make sure to watch all the episodes on dvd as well
