Jennifer Aniston: Omnipeace Pretty
OmniPeace founder Mary Fanaro and friends Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Sheryl Crow sport their favorite Omnipeace “Stamp Out Violence Against Women And Girls Of The Congo” t-shirts at a Kitson-sponsored dinner held at STK restaurant in Los Angeles on Thursday night (June 11).
Twenty-five percent of the proceeds from the sale of the Congo shirts will be donated to Unicef and V-day Foundation to build the City of Joy, a leadership and healing center and safe community for Congolese women and girls who have been victims of brutal rape and violence.
Back in 2007, Jen was spotted wearing an Omnipeace tank.

I know what you mean, but at least they are trying to do something, even if only posing with t-shirts to raise awareness. I would rather they do more, but maybe they don’t have the time or inclination to actually go to Congo. I think it takes a special kind of person to actually GO there.
The founder lady, Mary looks lots like Jennifer Lopez.

It’s easy to give out a fraction of your million $, wear pretty T-shirts in Hollywood and pose for flash bulbs. Some people do go visit refugee camps, work with their hands giving their TIME fixing New Orleans. Oh sorry, Miss Aniston needs her hair stylists and makeup team everywhere. I guess there aren’t such luxury in Congo.

Aniston isn’t in a relationship. If she was you damn well know for sure she’d be out there pretending she isn’t while be photographed with the person lol
They all have the exact same hair style.. I am so tired of people saying what a great “friend” Jennifer is. She has friends so what.. Most people have friends, that does not make them a great person. She never gets her hands dirty doing anything at all. Yes wearing a t-shirt is great.. But what are they doing.. she has a lot of fans and could bring such support to so many issues. I think she is just there because of Courtney. NOTHING more. I knew we would see her. Oh and she has the death grip on Sheryl. No I am not a fan. I admit it. I am not. I like Courtney but I find Jennifer an empty pot. Nothing more. I don’t understand her appeal. I don’t understand why she is the heading in this post. It is not even about her.

Please, if Jennifer is in a relationship, we would know about it in a heartbeat, to counteract the poor-me, almost-spinster, manless, childless image the media has been saddling her with lately, even going so far as hooking her up with the ex-husband who dumped her four years ago.
@liverwurst: completely agree with you liverwurst! if people were only allowed to help causes where they have visited the afflicted country , there would be far more problems in the world! people can recognise that charities are worthwhile and donate without necessarily getting physically involved with their work

@lisd: I can name one “person” who doesn’t have ANY friends. Ever see “her” photographed with a female she wasn’t sleeping with? Didn’t think so.

Don’t cry because I call a spade a spade, litle girl.
The prettiest of the bunch is that gal Mary, followed by Courteney (who is always gorgeous, but she does need to lay off whatever eye work she is getting done). But Mary & CC are really pretty.
Sheryl and Jennifer are in good shape for their ages, but their skin is overly tanned and orangey and looks damaged now so the faces are so-so. I always found that Sheryl and Jennifer could be sisters, they book loo alike, both are girls who have done the best with what they got (long chins, big foreheads, mannish kind of looks), but overally they are girls who had to work it to look good, not natural beauties.
Mary and Courteney are best friends for over 20 years, and yes Courteney and David have really done a lot of work for this foundation. Mary is the founder of this foundation and at the beginning of this year she has given Courteney an award, because she of all celebrities does most for people around her, and charity, too many to even name them all here, why? because she really cares. She could have given it to anyone, but she didn’t because as she said; Courteney is the best friend a girl can wish for, and while Mary was battling cancer herself nobody was so there for her as Courteney was. So instead of hating on a wonderful person, go do something for the world yourself. You are talking about something you don’t know anything about, obviously.

Think I would be more impressed if each of these rich gals came out PUBLICLY and said they gave a few thousand or a mil to the cause, put their money where their tshirts are. Because it’s only a photo opp otherwise.
And why does Jennifer Aniston always hold her friends in that odd, 2-arm hug??? It’s so weird, makes her look so needy and like she wants us to think “see, she’s my good friend, see people, look how much we are good friends, did you see how much we are good friends people”. She looks like one high maintenance friend to have (we’ve all had one of those, can be nice, but so me-me-me).
