OlderJude Law in Hamlet — FIRST LOOK
Jude Law channels his inner Hamlet and grabs hold of costar Gugu Mbatha-Raw (as Ophelia) in this new still from the stage production of Hamlet at Wyndham’s Theater in London.

The NY Times reviews Jude in the show, saying, “Fierce-eyed, charismatic, gestural to a degree one wouldn’t expect from a character who makes a point of advising the Players not to ’saw the air.’ One can imagine his particular empathy for this play given that London must at times seem for Mr. Law one large Elsinore, the tabloid press shadowing this fine actor’s every move to a degree unknown even at Denmark’s intrigue-laden Kronborg Castle.”

Jude looks so great lately. The word is that he is an excellent Hamlet and I wish I was going to see it! Maybe it will come to NYC and I can see it afterall!!! Please someone bring Hamlet to Broadway!

you asked about jude’s family…so here goes…..both parents were orphans….his father peter, a very handsom man….no surprise, was the youngest headmaster in london at a comprehensive school. his mother taught literature, english to immigrant children…also a very pretty woman. his sister natasha, two years older than jude is a very successful artist…she has three children just like jude. jude’s parents live in france for 18 years or so. jude goes there very often to relax with his kids…..they are a very close family..the parents are married around 40, 41 years or so. jude has three beautiful children and one stepson…..two boys rafferty 12years old, rudy, 6 years old and his lovely little girl iris 8 years old…all with sadie frost whom he divorced in 2003. his stepson’s name is finlay…sadie’s son through her marriage to musician gary kemp of the spandau ballet.
