Jude Law is the Lean, Wise Prince
Jude Law takes pictures with fans as he arrives at London’s Wyndham Theatre, where he is appearing as the title role in Hamlet, on Saturday (June 13).
Bloomberg News reviews Jude’s performance in the show, saying, “His verse-speaking is a joy. He begins by coloring his delivery with an occasional note of tremulous bombast and a vocal quiver, which is self-consciously actorly and immature. Then begins the slow, hard road to maturity. When he finally reconciles himself to death — ‘If it be not now, yet it will come. The readiness is all.’ — there is a core of stillness and light in his presentation that is affecting and memorable.”

Love him
I just rented The Holiday, and he is not only gorgeous in it, but his acting is spot on, as always. He can do serious, or light comedy. In this, he has to do both, show angst, be a completely different person from the self-assured Jude we’re used to.
Well worth renting if you get a chance.

He looks tired, and still has time for his fans. What a great guy. I love that he spends time with his ex-wife, and realizes that while they don’t want to live together, they had something special once and are raising their kids in a wonderful, loving way together, even while apart.
I saw him once on a TMZ video telling a pap to stay away from his kids. He said it’s one thing to come after him but stay away from his kids. I loved it! He’s such a good father.
While I sit here counting the days, hours, minutes, etcl until I get to put
myself in that seat by the statge at wyndhams to see HAMLET - I’ve
waited years to see him do HAMLET (he mentioned it back when he
made COLD MTN and have seen everything he has ever performed
that was recorded in one form or another and he has never given a bad performance - at its worst it was always interesting and mostly the fault of the director or the screenwriter but at his best he is superb and when all the elements of productiion coalesce he is unequalled on the stage or screen today because he brings that extra of being so stunning and having the ability to absolutely mesmerize his audience. Love you, Jude and a big kiss for Jared who is being an angel bringing us these pictures virtually daily. Oooo, the days can’tpass quick enough till I see you in the flesh, my HAMLET!

some reviewers said he had the energy and power on stage. I wish I could come and see his performance.

a friend of ours just got back from london and had the best time meeting him backstage at hamlet. she can’t believe how gorgeous he is and he spoke with her, smiled and said good night. she’s still on cloud nine. her feet have not touched the ground.

counting the days ’til i get to see the lovely jude law in hamlet. imagine he’s on stage for three hours with a tremendously difficult role….then spends so much time with the hundreds of fans who wait backstage…signing autographs, taking pictures with them…they all say the same thing about him….a true gent;eman and better looking in the flesh.love you jude.

hanlet will be playing until aug. 22…go to thebox office very early around 7 am,,,,they always have about 30mtickets to sell the same day of the performance. good luck. it’s at the wyndham theatre
